Dads Army - Cornish Floral Dance (recon) 1 minute

This is my attempt at trying to reconstruct a lost Dads Army short that is still (other than audio that survives) unreleased. I had done initially with some animation but the company i was doing it for didnt want it so here is the non animated version

The whole show including the idea was stolen from the George Formby film "Get Cracking (1943)....For decades the producers and the BBC took credit for stealing it. Just thought you should all know.

The screenplay for that film was by Lawrence du Garde Peach, although it starred George Formby who sang three songs which he composed himself. Apart from featuring the Home Guard it has nothing very much in common with DA. I suspect that little , if any, of it influenced Jimmy Perry and David Croft's writing.
