Sean C misremembered his Bond interview, because a bit of research reveals England did not play Poland in 1961, at Tottenham or anywhere else. Maybe he went to England vs Luxembourg, which took place at Highbury on September 28th 1961 (his casting was announced November 3rd 1961) - which would make that date a pretty important one in Bond history.

I started to watch as many videos connected to Sean and James Bond that I could find. I wanted to know more about ‘behind the scenes etc’ and there are many, For me Sean was the ‘best’ bond. Not because he was the first but I love the 60’s as a decade. I always thought he was ‘invincible’ When we knew what he died from I cried a lot My mother died aged 93 in 2019 of exactly the same ailments 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏 Is your surname really Wheelwright ? As a guy with 20yrs experience in community tv, that was good viewing. It’s not winning an Oscar In production excellence, but it was a good story about a guy I’ve seen a lot of. The time based format allowed me to put in context the roles and his journey into the craft of acting. Never knew about Billi, and it was a shame that Sean didn’t have the same ignorance of the project. To me he’s of course bond, but also the man who would be king and the character in Time Bandits pitched as being ‘like Sean Connery’ This is the sort of video I journey thru YT to find. 8/10 storys from the community about its interests rather than click bait. I wish you well in the algorithm
