Great video and detail! A video on your Contour fan setup (wiring, etc.) would be a great video to put together when you pull the motor on the grey car. :)
@vrm anytime. These types of info nuggets are what my channel is about. I just want to prevent everyone else from going through the blood sweat and tears I had to go through and learn over the years
Is there a need to bleed the fuel system? I had the fuel tank off and changed the pump, drained the lines and am wondering if I need to bleed the system.
Thanks. Yes, the reason the return line does not need to be as large as the feed is because the volume of fuel in the return line is always less than the feed. A smaller return line also helps the regulator because the smaller line creates more resistance after the regulator which helps. Nothing wrong with running the same size return line, but it’s just overkill on size, cost, etc.
@Quik5oh All PTFE hose is resistant to vapor leakage, which is a good thing. The carbon lined hose grounds any static charge built up in the lines from fuel movement.

Definitely, thanks for the idea. Contour fans are the best solution for our cars, for sure 👍
good information, thanks for sharing!

Nice video. Any reason why u did the return 6an and not 8an to match the feed ?

Hi do you ever have oil on spark plug thread?
No, I don’t. Only thing on spark plug threads is anti-seize when first installing, but that’s about it.
Is all PTFE hose the best for vapor leakage resistance, durability, etc. or does it specifically need to also be carbon lined?
