Hospital and doctor both didn't recommend surgery so I'm not gonna argue against medical professionals haha. 5 grand for the surgery thru private or like 9 weeks wait time thru public so I'll probably be healed by then anyways. Bloody keen to get back on the bike I'll tell ya that much 🤣
So glad you are healing well. Totally respect where you are coming from with injury and health. A mountain bike injury has an impact on you and those around you not mention financial. I broke my right ankle at Nerang in 2019 and it does make you risk manage going forward. I was fortunate enough to be able to still work all be it with a knee scooter to get around. Take it easy coming back and there is nothing wrong with taking a B line. Looking forward to seeing back on the bike and its always Daisy Hill ride to ease back in
Was going to ride on the weekend just gone but everywhere was a mud pit due to all the rain. Heading out camping this weekend then I'll be back into the swing of things 🤙 Super excited for things to go back to normal
@BikesWithBlake Yeah, I heard Mt. Cotton got 129mm. A car skidded off road and took out my letterbox, so MTB conditions must have been pretty shite 😐 Great that your ready though ! Enjoy the camping trip man 👌
@MTB_MICK Cheers legend, all I can really do is cruisy trails at the minute so mt cotton would've been out of the picture anyways. All the flat trails would be so cooked 🤣
Hey mate, feeling your pain bro, I had a crash that took me out of work for 7 weeks and no ride for 3 months. If you find good insurance let me know, I'm self funded super though which I don't think helps. Hopefully speedy recovery bro!!
Offft dude! Rest up hey! Really surprised you didn't get surgery to tie it all together.
