Dulce and Leslie gave real, heartfelt answers
Just quit my evil and toxic AF corporate job to follow a passion and make it on my own. Leslie Jones' confidence and certainty in taking action with trust in your SELF to do what is needed to succeed, are words that struck through me like lightning at the exact right moment.
Dulce, thank you for your honesty 🙏 and a big shout out to our Mothers 👏👏👏
Leslie Jones. Happy 4 your success.
Wow this episode is one of the best one yet. So relatable, genuine group of young folks walking us through their story.
I cherish every interview on this video. The comedy, honesty and encouragement made me laugh, cry, and want to go further in my life.
Dulce's story was deep. "been on stage performing for all those years, but never as myself with my own words." (speaking to the move from a theater actor/performer to stand up comedy.)
Dulce is a living doll. So happy to hear of her hope and faith and her mother's faith and support of her.
I watch TDS and its fun to see how these talented comedians came into their own professionally. A lot of grit and perseverance. I'm glad you aired this!
❤
I love hearing people be themselves and vulnerable. There is so much we don't know
Leslie Jones.... when I started working in production I just filled an open spotlight operator position. I had never worked in production before and had never touched a spotlight before. I kept getting hired to do things that I had never done before and kept getting called back for more work. 42 years later I have retired after touring for 12 years with a show that I programed and did all of the graphics and animations and built the systems for... I've worked making movies and engineered television. All of these things that I never would have gotten to do except for being willing to try when I accidentally was in the right place. Those things Leslie said were absolutely true. There's always going to be something you can do, but never turn down an opportunity to try something new and exciting because you don't know if or when you will ever be offered another chance again
I love each one of you. Thank you, Daily Show.... and all who make it happen.
15:42 that balance of family and career. So hard. Thank you Dulce, hope you get that other side too ❤
Youre amazing Leslie
Love everyone on this video. Authentic and amazingly talented.❤
Love these Behind the Scenes!
Have missed the show. Glad it's back
Everybody in this clip is friggin amazing....especially Desi. She always cracks me up. ❤❤❤❤
One of the best upload ever! So genuine so authentic so vulnerable.
All of them are awesome ❤
Such a great team. I love Jordan wish he could be full host but he’s so great out on the field
He's just so effortlessly, off-the-cuff funny. His extemporaneous comebacks in those segments are amazing
Love em all, I used to have two or three favorites, now at this point I don't care who gets the perm job, although I still like Roy, Ronny, and Desi, but whoever gets it, I'll be happy.
Klepper is absolutely amazing. Quick, witty, smart, and funny. Exactly what you'd want out of a Daily Show host.
Saw him and Roy Wood Jr. Friday night in DC. They were awesome!!!
Thank you 100X. I was just thinking about how Ronny got his break into TDS. 👍
can we just take a moment for Leslie Jones' complexion in the first clip. freaking beautiful and glowing. ive always thought this but this specific clip is like 😍
Jeez, Dulcé and Leslie made me tear up with their answers. Great stuff.
Thank you, Ms. Jones!
Leslie Jones is one of the greatest national treasures!! ❤❤❤
I really appreciate what Dulcé said about Hope.
Ronny & Michael are naturals, they manage to make anything funny.
They all did great - but the best for perm host is absolutely Leslie Jones!
Desi Lydic...doing a great job.👍
I love Michael Kosta, brilliant
Love y’all
Leslie F*cking Jones... The BEST!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
I want to comment about each correspondent. I love you guys and all your beautiful origin stories of finding success. It's wonderful to hear and inspiring. This was a great idea for a video it's so cool to see all of you in this light with showing some vulnerability and letting us know how you to came to be on the greatest comedy show ever, of course along with SNL!
My husband knew of Dulce because of her character in The Great North!
Leslie Jones is so real.
Beautiful.
Wow I love this, thanks 🙏🏾 for sharing❤❤😂😂😂

Dulces advice . . .wow

I really miss Dulce.
Where is Chelsea? 🙃
I LOVE DULCE🥰♥️🥰!!!
PREACH LESLIE
100% would attend Dulce’s ministry.
Miss Trev
Was funny.
Liz looks so young, I thought she's much younger.
I loved Leslie's andwer but also like what if you don't have aby connections or money and are chronically ill, and what you want to do is something that requires money and time to achieve?
Like, what's making me miserable is that I have failing kidneys and no money and I can't hold onto a job because people dont like youn vomitting blood all over the work place.
It was a lovely answer, its just I jear those kinds of answers from those who've made it all the time and I would assume thats just what it takes. I dnt want to be famous; I just want to teach Literature. But I cant just sit down and decide to fix my attitude towards crippling pain. I've already been asked to do that, not so I can work but just to get through a day.
Ronnie for host 2024
Yes!!! Or even Ronnie and Desi sharing the desk!
👍👍👍👍👍
Jokes is3 naturally way
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😊

They collect all this money and when they come to your area after a disaster, and you ask them for help, they always say that they cant help, because they are low in funds and to contact FEMA.
One time my home burned down, i had only the clothes on my back and when i went there for help, they could not even help me get a place to stay, told me to try the local churchs and if i had home owners inaurance.
All powerhouses, but Hasan brought receipts. Give him the job already!
Pete BUTTigieg said he wants to discuss his journey as well.
Its a “come-from-behind” sort of trip.
His journey includes a lot of ‘tunnels,’ ‘bears,’ ‘rainbows,’ and a 6 month maternity leave with his ‘wife’ Chasten.🤣

Judging from all the plastic in your’s it seems a topic you are well aware of😅😅😅
@@MajorHenryL. That makes no sense. Not a native English speaker, are you.
@@leannevandekew1996
I realize I used a lot of big words such as ‘it,’ ‘are,’ & ‘of.’
🟪🟧🟨🟥 If I color code does it make it easier? You people are typically dimwitted.
Imagine clicking on a video where successful comedians on TV are talking about their experiences, and posting this. Don't quit your day job bro. It's also weird how obsessed with teh gheys you guys are. As an actual straight person, I never think about them. Projecting are we sweetheart? 😘
Leslie Jones thinks she's funny?
Becsuse she is
@@mominor6913 we should file this under "agree to disagree". send me a link to change my mind.
I’m not going to listen to well paid comedians talk about their lives. Hire Sarah Silverman or Chelsea Handler to be permanent host already and make better content. This is leftovers
Booooooo!!!!
Go home!!!!
Then don’t listen. I enjoyed it. And are you saying Chelsea Handler and Sarah Silverman aren’t well paid comedians?
Roy got shafted.
