Fun fact: the tower jingle in octo expansion is the same jingle that plays when the telephone puts all the thangs together to make the blender.
Octo ai’s are still better than S+ teammates. S+ teammates are so dumb and clueless.
idk if it was intentional but i like how on the tc challenge chara opted to stay away from the sprinklers more than the octolings because of how bad the ai is.

Btw the rainmaker Was staight up impossible because you have to paint the podeum. unless you die once i think dieing can paint it. But its very .likely to get painted over sooo..but i think tc is possible without shooting
So something I've noticed with octo expansion walls. When they're not fully deployed, it it takes 1 shot to get rid of them. I think there's a timing you can do for the baller explosion to where it will kill both the wall and the octoling. But you would have to die on purpose, respawn abd get another baller, I'm going to try it myself and see if this works
The reason why the octolings weapons are shooting so fast is because they are leveled up hero weapons from the agent 4 story mode. Probably a lore thing too

It takes 3 ballers to bring down OE wall, I think with some optimisation you can manage to sneak three jump-in explosions to shred it.
possibly, I feel like it might just take too long but I could see it being possible, the main issue is killing the blaster user with the wall being there without it taking too long. I'd def love to see it done.
popping baller on the sprinklers at mid would make traversing a little easier
I beat Rad Ride Station using only Baller yesterday. The second Octoling is what creates the Splash Wall on the Tower. If you use the Baller to camp the jump and kill them before they can land, they won’t have enough time to throw down the wall. There’s also a small window of time before the wall fully activates where you can one-shot it.
I haven't watched through the video, but I'm kinda convinced I don't want a computer player to replace a disconnected human player
theyre probably no good for ranked, but id like them to at least be in turf war. the AI does suck, but having a no-braincells paintbot on the team is better than being down a player outright
@@glassphoenix9095 well a paint bot is still useful in ranked cause that's turf for you. And the ai could have perfect aim and kits that compliment it so that they won't be a liability.
Well, the thing is these AIs are sort of built to be braindead. You can tell Nintendo can make way better ones based on the one they used for inner agent 3. Plus, these rainmaker/tc levels would be hell if Nintendo put actual AIs instead of troglodytes.
@@glassphoenix9095 It can be, but remember that when they get splatted, they burst in the enemy color's paint. So a bad enough teammate could just end up painting more for the enemy than for themselves, lol
You know, you don't have to climb the whole tower in octopus form.. or any vertical wall with a grate above it. If you change forms halfway through the grate, the game will just spit you out on top. It's been very handy in some of my games.
It looked like you could have made it back on top a couple times if you went into octoling form. Not sure if that was an oversight or if a pro player isn't aware of this small optimization O.O

13:23 Fun fact: Octolings riding the tower will literally super jump back onto it if they somehow fall off.
Unrelated not-so-fun facts are that both the regular Octoshot and the Blaster Octolings' weapons have less range than the real ones, and only the Elite Octolings' weapons have the normal range. It's pretty funny (but sad) how Nintendo purposely made these things have a disadvantage. Other nerfs include:
-Inkjet Octos both normal and Elite will always fire at a slower rate at you, but will fire normally when painting. In Splatoon 1, the regular Octolings even have a slower fire rate, and their bombs cant OHKO.
-In TC and Rainmaker, the final four Octolings are the only ones that respawn, but EXTREMELY slowly. Proof? Go to the Port Rainmaker, kill the final four you see, and just watch their spawn point for a long time.

I think you can beat it IF your able to explode just as they land on tower, killing them and leaving you stuck on the tower for the last three seconds of it
you can hear the tower jingle in multiplayer, the game music is SO much louder
I mean the jingle in OE is different then the one in multiplayer

So lemme get this straight
Octobrella gets a burst bomb, ink storm, a shield that can survive a baller, the firerate of a ubrella, and the ability to fire the canopy
Octoblaster get's splash wall that seems to have more HP than a tenta brella's shield and a seemingly infininte inkjet.
So why can't we have these kits? (W them being nerfed obviously) I'd so much rather have burst bomb brella over auto or sprinkler.
Weird chara got 90% of the way through rainmaker and said its not possible. I can confirm it is possible as I've done it.

I have some ideas for the tanked mode achievements. For rainmaker, it would be getting a knock out with in a minute of the game starting. Tower control would be getting a knock out with out the tower ever stopping. Clam blitz would be get a knockout by only breaking the barrier once, and finally, splat zones would be get a knock out with out the timer ever stopping.

When the octoling was at the tower at charas spawn it was camping which was really funny and weird
Super late to the party, but...
1. Why not activate the Ink Rail? Is it just not useful?
2. Using a Baller at spawn at the start would make it quicker to grab subsequent Ballers and get to the launch pad. It's only really a few seconds each time you die, but I think those few seconds would add up quickly.

Somehow I managed to not have the wall. I think you can do that if the baller explodes in the right moment just before the wall is on the tower.

If the wall doesn't open you can take it out in one hit.
Defeat Inner Agent 3 without firing the Octo Shot, meaning bombs only.
there's a fun challenge that i did a while back and i think it might be fun to see you handle it.
F-10, Cubular Station, with only sub weapons and with one rotation. It's not as hard as it seems, but like i said, it was fun.

It's not. There's actually two jingles for multiplayer, one for alpha team, and one for bravo team. Neither is the same as the one used in OE

Idk how but I just tried the tower challenge and I did it on my first try without killing the wall, my strat was to kill the beginning octolings with the baller to make it easier to come back, then I somehow made it to the end right at 1 second left
