Thank you for answering my question on cabled drags & i agree with the 1/8" 7x19 cable that exactly what i have connected to my drags & i had a jack russel for 12 years & was the best dog ive ever had i think he could read my mind lol love your videos keep on keeping on
If you used cable maybe a couple of feet above the drag out a weight of some kind to keep the drag end all the way down, or chain the last 2 feet or so. Another great video Dale!!
Sometimes when I don't have the time or energy or when I can't drive an earth anchor, I'll attach my trap chain to the end of a drowning cable, and use the adjustable loop and just loop to a tree. Do you recommend this? I hide the cable for a few feet.
As long as you're anchored somewhat solid it to a brush drag then cable is fine. I just personally wouldn't use it on a steel drag to prevent the skipping and jumping effects of the drag that I mentioned in the video Travis. Thank you for watching
Thanks Dale, I have never used drags before i am now thinking about giving them a try. As always appreciate your hard work and information you provide for us! Will you be at the Illinois convention this year?
Great advice Dale!! Thank you for sharing!
I appreciate you watching Mark
