I only got to use my jack 2 seasons before my old neighbor shot him. They swiftly moved away. Thank you for watching Jason

Thank you Dale, I'm switching to a bunch of drags. Nothing but rock here in New York.

The chains keep on working while the cable gets all bent up and you got a hay wire mess

If you used cable maybe a couple of feet above the drag out a weight of some kind to keep the drag end all the way down, or chain the last 2 feet or so.
    Another great video Dale!!

Yes that's right 284Winchester you could do that. Whatever it takes to keep that drag down on the ground. Thank you for watching

Sometimes when I don't have the time or energy or when I can't drive an earth anchor, I'll attach my trap chain to the end of a drowning cable, and use the adjustable loop and just loop to a tree. Do you recommend this? I hide the cable for a few feet.

As long as you're anchored somewhat solid it to a brush drag then cable is fine. I just personally wouldn't use it on a steel drag to prevent the skipping and jumping effects of the drag that I mentioned in the video Travis. Thank you for watching
