Check out this clip of North Dakota native Gary Jepson leading a demo discussion on baits and lures with emphasis on coyote. Gary started trapping in 1951. He has trapped kit fox, red fox, bobcat, mink, muskrat, otter, nutria, Canadian Lynx, with particular interest in coyote. He has trapped in North & South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Nebraska. Gary is a professional trapper, a life member of Fur Takers of America, currently serving as Vice President. He is also a member of NWCOA and the National Trappers Association.
Gary has given numerous demonstrations at various events both on the state and national level including state and national conventions. He has been an instructor at Trapper’s College since 1991. Gary Previously owned and operated Fur Country Lures. This company has an extensive line of lures and products. He put his lifelong experience of lures into these products. He gives private instruction and has produced a coyote and bobcat video. He has extensive experience with foothold traps, conibears, and snares.
