What do you think of the end result??? Staying to ginger or going to blond?
Stay ginger is my vote. It looks good on her.
My vote is for ginger as well! It’s been one of my go-to hair colors for 25 years
immediately loved it. the patchiness takes away from it but she should buy an identical toner. that’s her colour

That ginger color suits her better than blonde would. It's beautiful. She doesn't need to go to blonde.

She looks better with darker hair for sure, or maybe a deep red, like a sienna or burgundy.
Yeah, at that point in my life, I LOVED my dark hair. Went great with my eyebrows...but now, with plat blond, I look softer but still play up my brows to make my eyes a focal point. Tricks of going gray in a hot way.
I got cooper/strawberry color and its fire 🔥 red hair just hits differently. It makes eye color pop and skin is in nicer shade now. Love it and recommend to everyone. Lower maintenance than blonde as well
I just went from having been blonde for YEARS and changing to a bright orange copper… it was shocking at first and a big change, but now I am in love with it. My hairdresser did an amazing job.

I think hair companies are getting the message because I've seen more and more boxed products that tell you what volume of developer they're selling you.

I kind of like the rose gold tones in her hair but I also realize that may not be the same color I see on my laptop. She could do lowlights where the blond parts are and it would be SO NICE.
Yeah, I know she didn't seem super happy with the end result, but I thought the reddish orange curls were really pretty on her!

For a box dye... It was pretty good for a first go. Definetely won't go from that dark to blonde in one try, but she was in the right path.

Sound advice HB - people who put dye in 1-2+years ago may not realise the importance of still mentioning it to the stylist 👍
I remember when I used to bleach my hair I put a blue plastic bag I had on and I could not think why my hair was with a tint of blue purple.and then i worked out why 😂I liked it tho .her hair looks nice I was surprised it turned out that colour.

I've gone jet black to platinum twice and both times took a year or so with the hairdresser bleaching every month or two. I had to go through the ugly reddish copper hair, but finally getting to blonde was worth it.

Why blonde? The quest for blonde hair is partly due to advertising by Miss Clairol hair color in the 1960’s. Two popular slogans were “blondes have more fun” and “if I only have one life, let me live it as a blonde”. One ad featured the poor brunette in the office witnessing all the men going after the blonde in the office. After she dyed her hair blonde, the brunette became popular with the men. Blonde has always been sought after - Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe for example. One quote that was attributed to the young Monroe when she was trying to get acting work was “If they want a blonde, I’ll give them a blonde!” I enjoy your videos immensely!

She would need 4 boxes, minimum, for any hair coloring. I absolutely love this orange ginger color on her!! Get the color evened out and she would love amazing. A blonde color would pale her skin tone too much

I only do blonde to maintain my pink. Here's the secret...don't use beach....use a non bleach lightener (Ion creme oil lightener) with a 20 volume developer....then use a color that doesn't need a developer (iroiro vegan color...semi permanent).

Beautiful hair! The red color looked good. Please don't ruin your hair going for blonde, especially if the final shade does not work for your skin tone.
I always ask people when was the last time you colored your hair instead of asking if they have color on their hair for that reason because if i ask when instead of if i know where the old color stops just a tip for all of the other hairstylists out there
I don't want blonde hair, I want naturally grey hair. All of my younger siblings have grey hair, yet mine is still stubbornly brown. Would cutting my hair short encourage it to go grey faster?
No sorry. Genetics, your health and stress levels are all components to how soon you may go grey. So maybe you are just doing a good job of looking after yourself😊
