The 2nd guy had 40 and 30 volume developer, not 20 volume. Looks like whatever he used fried the ends off his dreads and he needed a bit of a chop by the time he was finished 😬
The man with the lovely locks should definitely have gone to a locktician hairstylist for the bleaching! I can’t even imagine how hard that must be to do yourself!
I'm so glad you warn people that bleach is not to be taken lightly. I had a patient who bleached her hair at home, fell asleep, and it dripped into her eyes, and now she has significant vision loss in both eyes 😢 Also, aloe vera or a product called burnshield hydrogel work well for superficial burns of the skin.
1:0 for box bleach because at least box bleach contains gloves 😂 The power of gloves, the power of a brush, the power of Blondme, the power of competence, the power of a sense of style and creativity... The combination of these powers resulted in creating him ... Hair Buddah 😂
They want instant gratification, and don't want to take the necessary time to get it right. "Trust the process … oh no this is chaotic!" There's the orange 😂
When you said that people are evolving with their hair coloring techniques it reminded me that I want to thank you for teaching me so many things and for giving me hope. You have saved me from myself and my kitchen beautician ways. Thank you 🌷
I like that videos like this help people see realistic results, helps to give/show realistic expectations of mistakes/techniques and products used. A lot of the time i feel like the misinformation and misguided expectations people have, really makes it difficult for professionals.
Thankyou for being here. I laugh every time. I have been there done that like most women DIY. I’m transitioning to grey naturally, after having dreads for over ten years , was able to brush out and keep most of my long hair. I would love some tips on my greying journey.
I have pressed other videos. I have enjoyed this video. I have learned from this video. I have been entertained by this video. I have given thumbs up. I am subscribing right now xoxo
I've just gone from copper to blonde using advice from a number of your videos. I faded the colour over quite a few weeks by just washing my hair and used a Malibu CPR. I bleached with Blonde Me powder and Blonde Me 7 volume developer, and it worked so well! I used a level 8 toner and got a lovely, shiny natural blonde - new green, no brass 😊
I grew up in my mother's salon. I was her color test "dummy" every summer. We tried for blonde so many times but never achieved it because my hair has SOOOO much red. The best we could do was a strawberry blonde but even that wasn't the color Mom wanted. I had platinum blonde as a lil kid but it turned dark brown b4 my 10th birthday. But as I said Mom used me to do color testing so I've had my hair every color of the rainbow b4 it was a cool thing to do. I've not had my hair processed in 30 years now and even though I'm 63 my hair has not gone gray while both my older and younger sisters have gone really gray but both have continued to process their hair. I'm happy with my mousey brown
I had bleached front pieces white in high school (in the late 90’s!) and even at 15 I knew enough to have my mom take me to someone to have it done professionally so I didn’t look ridiculous attempting it myself. Looking back I am SO thankful to my mom for that!!
I just tried blonde brilliance bleach Saturday and was really impressed with it . 20 volume on dark blonde hair for 20 minutes went pale Yellow on lengths and almost white at roots .
The underneath style i did with my daughters hair yesterday. With all of your Tips it came out very goood... now she has black hair on top and violett hair underneath 😊 we bleached it two times and then we put the violett color on the bleached parts. But before we did that we died the black parts, to avoid that the bleached parts get dirty from the black color Thank you hair Buddha ❤
My doctor has me wearing a bp-measurer for 24 hrs. It starts automatically. I can now see, that the first girl made my bp (blood pressure) rise like crazy. Soooo annoying 🫢
I love watching your videos, you’re a great teacher. I have very rare hair, I have never beached it. I loved my dark brown hair. What I didn’t like was that it was fine and extremely straight, would not hold a curl. I could sleep on rollers all night and when I took them out of my hair the curl was gone in less than 15 minutes. I’m 65 and my hair is still mostly brown, a little lighter because there is a little white in it. In my family our hair goes white not gray.
I just tried highlights with a cap with blonde me 20 vol for the first time. Thank god I watch your videos. It turned out good. Next time I might leave it in for more than 25min to get rid of some brassyness. Thank you hair Buddha!
2:24-you are so correct, on virgin hair, being a rare species. Even my granddaughters at the young age of 3 have had some kind of coloring put into their hair.
Hi Budda - question- I’ve got dyed red hair ( has been constantly dyed red for 30 years!) I want to put some different shades of red in my hair - can I bleach it first ? Like highlights? Thank you . I love your content . Small sections !! 😂
A lot of universities these days have free food pantrys (includes toiletries) or services to help students sign up for food assistance, which theyre really trying to destigmatize. They didnt have this most of the time i was a student, so i ate lots of discounted pizza and grocery shopped at the 99cent store (RIP 99cent stores ye served me well😭)
I really didn't like how the first one treated her friend. It's not just you (or me) getting old, she's just not a good friend. I had a "friend" like her when I was a kid and for some reason I was blind to the way she treated me, but even my other friends my age told me more than once that I needed a good friend who knew my worth, and we were 11 years old.
Hey Hair Buddha! Question 🙋🏼♀️ They wella toner instructions calls for 20 vol. At least the liquid toner everyone uses. Can you use 10 vol and go against the instructions? I have listened to you and thought maybe I should just use 10 but was afraid to deviate from the instructions on the packaging ❤ Long story short will 10 volume work?? Thanks!
love your videos, I have dark hair and when I was younger a friend's mum bleached my hair, and it was yellow, and I left it to grow out it didn't bother me to look like ramen noodles and I have never bleached it again. I didn't have a hair fail still have all my original hair.
When my kid was 13yo they were severely burnt by a hairstylist bleaching their hair. Their scalp has some gnarly scars and at 24yo they still hurt to touch. Their scalp tends to be dry, they have pretty thick, coarse hair, but it wasn’t their first rodeo. We found we had to add coconut oil to their scalp prior to bleaching/dying their hair. We’ve had no problems since. And yes, we use 20 volume. But they won’t let anyone lighten/dye their hair besides me now.
Im sorry but i have ZERO sympathy for ignorant people who cannot even be bothered to research how to do something correctly but expect it to just happen!!!
The last time I had any dye touch my hair was probably 11-13 years ago. 2 years ago I was able to donate 21 inches of hair. Now I’m getting more gray or white (I can’t tell the way it looks against my hair) and I think about trying blonde all the time and the main reason I never have is because I am terrified to do it at home and I don’t want to go to just any place to get it done. You have only instilled that I cannot and shouldn’t do it at home.
My Favorite Bleach Powder is BlondMe, these are the links. BlondMe Powder: bit.ly/4a2w3qO BlondMe 20vol: bit.ly/4cluoOL My Favorite Toners: bit.ly/3v8K6w4
Dear Hair Buddha, can you please explain to me why 30 and 40 volumes even exist? When I was younger I burnt my scalp using 40vol, I thought it would be less damage and quicker that way.
Can you explaon the wella color charm toner? Some say color and some say toner. Some are permanent. Do you want to do permanent toner ? I cant even find demi permanent toner. I dont understand the T anything. I know that is titanium but why does all the color charms have T. I just dont get it.
my hair is even darker than the first girl hair. and i was able to dye my bangs platinum white after one round of bleach + 20 vol and toning with 10.1 + 10 vol
Ok... these friends are the kind of friends who would will have "falling out" soon. Likely for some kind of betrayal. Maybe im jaded, but friends who treat each other that way, in my experience, won't last..
I once Got burned in an bleaching. My whole scalp was like is was on FIRE the entire time. When the time was coming to flush my bleach out. A customer , a little boy with his mum came in the salon. The hairdresser had forgotten all about him or they lied and was a walk in. But then she postponed me. And made a Cut on the boy instead because his mother was An entitled KAREN type. So I sad there. And for every second I waisted. The pain Got more and more intense. I suffleres. It was torture. Pind needles fire booking water it felt as though it all happend to my scalp. And when she came back. And flashes my hair. The hair was falling of. Every time she stopped the cool water on my scalp. It began to BURN LIKE MADNESS again. I was crying vi tried to lay Down on my head on the pillow that night. It was like trying to lay on very short beard. The one whick stings when kissing. My scalp was like that. At last I called ambulance. And Got treated for my servere Burns. I lost ALL MY HAIR 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I like the pre-warning to camera so we know a fail is coming 😂 What on earth are they doing using plastic bags as gloves?!? 🤯 Need I say no proper sectioning either 🙄
I'm a rare species!!! I've never in my life colored or bleached my hair!!! I have natural dark red/auburn hair... I'm 44 and starting to get gray hairs... I'm so nervous because the color of my hair just doesn't come in a box... Plus, I have a lot of it!!! Hello HB, from Akron, Ohio, USA!!! Have a wonderful week to all!!! 💙
I've had almost every color on my hair, but I let it grow and cut out the dyed parts and now I have waist length dark brown virgin hair. I'm 31 but I have had gray and white hairs since I was a pre-teen so I actually love them. I'd say embrace the gray, but you can always go to a salon, maybe they can match your natural color.
Sally’s should be trained in what they sell because people rely on what they’re told by staff (20v for bleaching and max 10v for toning and which products are toners) 🤔
She was so rude to her friend in the beginning and then magically for the second round had no more help. 😂😂 what a surprise! Haha
You’re a saint for giving advice to these kids who aren’t into it and who give no craps if it turns out.
The 2nd guy had 40 and 30 volume developer, not 20 volume. Looks like whatever he used fried the ends off his dreads and he needed a bit of a chop by the time he was finished 😬

Omg! That’s why I always go to a professional and keep my eyes shut through out. To the point that they laugh at me.
1:0 for box bleach because at least box bleach contains gloves 😂

I was waiting for an appearance of quick blue and hair Buddha's face priceless 😂😂😂
🫣
Love this channel
❤
As a long as ppl are searching for Quick Blue, they'll keep pumping it out.
Can we petition the UN to have an embargo against quick blue for its hate crimes against hair?
I don’t remember ever seeing anyone bleaching locs. Well, he already has sections! 😂
But DAMN! He looks gooooood!
With all the information out there it amazes me that people still mess up. Happy Monday Hair Buddha and fellow listeners!
They want instant gratification, and don't want to take the necessary time to get it right. "Trust the process … oh no this is chaotic!"

I love the reaction to Quick Bluue in your face.😆
😳
The guy with the locks had his hair sectioned for him....one lock at a time...done! Why he grabbed fists full of his locks is beyond me 🤷♀️
Always enjoy Hair Buddha helping me start out my dreary Monday. Have a great day, Hair Buddha and friends. 🌞❤✨️
Have a lovely Monday
@@hair-buddha, Thank you. 😊 💜
😂😂😂 That fake girly voice was everything.
Absolutely!
Timestamp? I can't find it.
I'm going to start calling this "Monday Madness"!! Thank you Hair Buddha for another crazy video.
Thankyou for being here. I laugh every time. I have been there done that like most women DIY. I’m transitioning to grey naturally, after having dreads for over ten years , was able to brush out and keep most of my long hair. I would love some tips on my greying journey.
I'm on a grey transition also. It would be great to get HB's suggestions on that just like you mentioned.
“And it’s right in my face!”
Hilarious!😂

Starting my week with a Hair Buddha break. He just gets us.
Because of you, I bought Blonde Me for my maiden voyage into bleaching. Thank you Hair Buddy ❤
Thanks, Hair Buddah, I now notice many hair fails on the street😏
Omg me too....even when am watching TV I just spot bleaching fails
Favourite part of the day is right now;in bed watching hair buddha. Heavennnn
I do the exact same thing. Its my down chill time. Lol

test holter it is
I use T18 with 10 vol developer. It works just as good, never had an issue
Yeah, yeah, the terrible fate of having thick, dark, healthy and beautiful hair. T18 to the rescue!

Bleach again😂 we love this😂❤
Ah yes. The expectation versus reality. I sincerely hope they all learned something.
Part of the no dye at all group! ❤
Me too!!! I'm 44 and have never dyed or bleached my hair!!! 💙
Hair Buddha is psychic 😂😂
Another helpful video. Thank you!
I love the way you say scalp 😂 scolp is everything
Yeaaahh bleaching fails. Wootwoot for youuuu😂
2:24-you are so correct, on virgin hair, being a rare species. Even my granddaughters at the young age of 3 have had some kind of coloring put into their hair.
they all start out all chipper with high hopes lol
Don't we all!
MY EYES!! If only shielding our eyes from the products would help. If only they could hear you through the videos! 😂
I didn’t know how scary bleaching was. Holy cats. 😮😂
Am I alone in thinking that the guy with the dreadlocks looked good? I liked the transition in it.
"y'all see what I did to my skin" - yes, yes we do. It was funny, cuz it was dumb. I hope that last guy learned from his mistakes.
If he could also learn to enunciate and not whine-drone, people might take him seriously and his life will improve
Matches your beard perfectly after the second bleach😂
Hi Budda - question- I’ve got dyed red hair ( has been constantly dyed red for 30 years!)
I want to put some different shades of red in my hair - can I bleach it first ? Like highlights? Thank you .

Thank you for your videos I love it ❤
I liked the orange-looks like fire😀

Keep up the great videos! 👍
I never ever want a friend like that..

I like aloe, manuka honey or oatmeal for skin irritation and bleach burns.

love when I get home from work and sit down to eat and open my phone to new hair buddha fails!!!!
Hello 💜 love to you and your family.
Thank you, I'm sending love back...
What are 30 and 40 volumes good for?
The last time I had any dye touch my hair was probably 11-13 years ago. 2 years ago I was able to donate 21 inches of hair. Now I’m getting more gray or white (I can’t tell the way it looks against my hair) and I think about trying blonde all the time and the main reason I never have is because I am terrified to do it at home and I don’t want to go to just any place to get it done. You have only instilled that I cannot and shouldn’t do it at home.
If you do bleach your hair at home which bleach would you recommend?
My Favorite Bleach Powder is BlondMe, these are the links.
BlondMe Powder: bit.ly/4a2w3qO
BlondMe 20vol: bit.ly/4cluoOL
My Favorite Toners: bit.ly/3v8K6w4
Absolutely!! I would not use anything else as i always get beautiful expected results every time!!
We would rinse with water mixture apple cider vinegar one part vinegar to 10 part water to stop the peroxide reaction. 😊
Dear Hair Buddha, can you please explain to me why 30 and 40 volumes even exist? When I was younger I burnt my scalp using 40vol, I thought it would be less damage and quicker that way.
Rule of thumb: If it burns, rinse. The end.

Hi HB, maybe you should do a DIY medley of how to do it wrong. Then maybe they might do it the right way. Lmao who am i kidding
Hahahaha quick blue hahaha WHYYYYY
Ok... these friends are the kind of friends who would will have "falling out" soon. Likely for some kind of betrayal. Maybe im jaded, but friends who treat each other that way, in my experience, won't last..

It’s bleach fail Monday 😊
I bet if you make the mixture really liquidy then just dip dye it it will saturate more deeply into the lock
The first person had had a shaved widows peak too
So! The low toner is slower working? But the same power?!
More like you can safely leave it in longer so it'll lighten more
You need to link that girls bleach success
you gorgot covonut oil, vitamin c, washing up liquid and vinegat😂😂😂😂
The highly offensive quick death... on locs!!!! 😢
O no, not the Quick Blue 😮
😂 Freakin love his reaction!
I don't wanna be your scalp (c) 🤣
Monday🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
New Video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like the pre-warning to camera so we know a fail is coming 😂
What on earth are they doing using plastic bags as gloves?!? 🤯
Need I say no proper sectioning either 🙄
Nowadays with the internet full of info I’m amazed at people attempting this so clueless 🤦♀️
If you really hate going grey, get highlights to mask the grey. We should be proud to age gracefully❤
Girl needs to stop calling her dark brown hair black 😂
Why do they sell quick blue if it's so bad 🤦♀️
Did he really just say he never dyed his hair before...with blonde hair on the tips of his locs? 🤔
That’s bleach not dye
Maybe he means done by himself, rather than at a salon 🧐
