We appreciate your interest! We don't have an exact timeline, as our current efforts are behind expanding the product line. 2023 at the earliest, we would estimate.

My dog Bono was diagnosed with a serious liver problem he was bloated, over weight and drinking lots of water, he was put onto a 3 month coarse of medication.
I asked the vet if the problem could be related to diet but he could not give me a definitive answer.
I am Vegan and was wary of putting him on a 100% plant-based, I was feeding him vets approved dog pellets - I then researched homemade dog vegan food and fed him this for a month, the vet said he had made a remarkable recovery and reassured me that dogs could live healthy lives plant based but to make sure they gets enough protein.
I cook up a mixture of lentils, rice, oats, peanut butter and a ground up mix of most vegetables, the final food is soft like firm porridge - Am I making the food correctly?
Bono’s basic weight should be +- 10kg how much of the cooked food should he have per day?

Hey Daniel, We are so glad a vegan diet is working well for Bono. Our food is nutritionally complete and vet-developed, so if you are looking for a kibble option we would love to be that option for Bono. We can't advise on homemade vegan diets unfortunately, because they do require a very specific formulation and so we must advise that you work with a veterinary nutritionist to develop that recipe.

I hope this is genuine and unbiased? She is being paid to promote Wild Earth? I am an ethical vegan and it’s a dilemma as I don’t want to support the animal farming industry. I just lost my dog Lissy who was on wet and dry Benevo with some fish meals sometimes. I am bereft. Since then I am thinking about creating a menu including some homemade meals (last night I made sweet potatoes, kale, pan fried mackerel) plus added flax oil.
I have been buying wild caught fish, tinned fish, eggs to add to their plant based food. I still believe that plant based can be all they need and my main aim is boosting their immunity as they age as I’m sad that my Lissy got cancer and I didn’t give her supplements to boost her immunity although I added flaxseed, nutritional yeast. I want to give them CBD, curcumin etc.

Hello, I am so sorry for your loss. We believe a plant-based diet is directly related to longevity. Take Bramble for example, who lived to the age of 25 wildearth.com/blogs/the-wild-times/bramble-the-vegan-border-collie

    Are dogs herbivores?

They are omnivores. Here is some more info on the topic ua-cam.com/video/fcTLJG0P9eo/v-deo.html

@@JohnDoe-rk1ck Herbivore/omnivore is actually description of behaviour. I'm a herbivore because I'm vegan. Some dogs are herbivores and are healthier than those who eat commercial dog food made from diseased, infected carcasses deemed unfit for human consumption.

@@bengilkes7676 theyve adapted to process starches for survival but it is obviously sub optimal. All ancestors of dogs would choose death by starvation over vegetables. Thats how natural it is for them.
Just mix in some veggies from day one and exercise them.

@@JohnDoe-rk1ck No they wouldn't. My dogs love veggies just as much as they do meat, so do the ones in the wild. Omnivores means they can thrive on either diet and each animal has a set of needs just like a human being.
