Awesome songs! My home country is 83 County (in Nebraska), great to hear awesome '83 songs! I am going to go through them and watch a lot of music videos of the songs!
10 Wherever I lay my hat 9 Red red wine 8 Tonight I celebrate 7 Total eclipse 6 Too shy 5 New song 4 That's all 3 Is there something I should know 2 Waterfront 1 Down under
So many iconic songs from 1983 have been missed out among them Sweet Dreams ( Are Made of This) by Eurythmics, Flashdance ( What a Feeling) by Irene Cara, Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and Maniac by Michael Sembello among the few.
Oh yeah this was a ranking of the 30 songs NOW selected for the record itself. I Think NOW 2 was also in 1983 as well. Ill do a separate top songs from that year anyway. Cheers
Only 3 of these songs would make my actual Top 10 of 1983: 10 - Always something there to remind me 9 - Is there something I should know 8 Separate ways 7 Twilight zone 6 Waterfront 5 Hungry like the wolf 4 Africa 3 Let the music play 2 Down under 1 Every breath you take
This first edition of the Now That's What I Call Music! includes hits from January all the way to November in 1983. Nobody's Diary got to number 3 that summer,so it would have been included in any subsequent year when they were churning out several editions.
Let me know your ranking and if you think i should do this as a series in order! Cheers
Maybe you should that annular with the volumes attached to it.
YES !!! Please do it as a series !!!
This is an awesome concept!
I should do this with France's own music compilation CDs (the NRJ ones come to mind)
