I like how there is no music and your commenting is very minimal. The reason is because I have climbed routes like this and the video really brings back the memories of the quiet yet intense environment you are in (almost silent) and the calm yet serious focus you maintain in order to survive the challenge. It's really an accurate and relatable example of that experience.

Sick, do you usually just use the approach shoes for everything? Or do you bring climbing shoes ?
For harder climbs I always use climbing shoes, but this route was pretty easy, so I went without them :)

Awesome, I just want to comment that all tho I assume you're pretty well inside your comfort zone, to not let the extra attention the free solo vids get, to push you too much out of your comfort zone in order to get a great shot or vid, tho i can see you really enjoy it, wish you the best my friend.

Nope, it’s an alpine ascent of III grade difficulty.
So it shouldn’t be done without a mountain guide or proper experience!

What time of year would you recommend climbing this route?
After May but before the first snow falls.
Till the end of june there’s still a lot of snow on some parts of the route, so ice axe and crampons are mandatory.
I would rather recommend end of july or august… even september if there’s no snow yet.
Although I don't do the climbing things you do, I understand the joy of beïng alone in the mountains.
Hey where is that information table with the routes located? Did you find some topos of the routes or any info about the routes on the internet or in some guidebook? I wanted to climb the north face of triglav earlier this summer but couldnt find much info about routes. Any help is appreciated

The information table is located right next to Aljažev dom.
There is not much info for the Triglav north wall on the internet, but there are guidebooks specifically for this wall which are also hard to get by these days :(

there was an old booklet, practically impossible to find today, full of sketches, drawings and photos with the routes of ascents and information on routes and climbs: ITALIAN AND SLOVENIAN JULIAN ALPS by Gino Buscaini. And here there are also details of the north face of Triglav.

For me, the cold water is almost a harder mental challenge than the climb🤣
i was really scared of free climbing even to watch it from youtube but this summer i did some free climbing to get to the cliffs and its not as scary as it seems but its still dangerous imo. of course this is much steeper than what i climbed
Don‘t confuse free and free solo. Free climbing is a term in its own right - it‘s described well on wikipedia :)

Dude you need to be very careful. This is not a game. You cannot reboot if you make a mistake.
@@andrazegart then do NOT upload free solo clips - it's as easy as that! If you don't want to inspire others to do it themselves, then all you want is likes, reach, fame. If you're honest to yourself, I bet you got motivated/inspired to free solo by other clips, too (maybe from famous alpinists). It's just how it works.
@@nobody6454 I watched movies such as the alpinist, free solo, and many more ... but none of that inspired me to start free soloing. I only thought to myself "dang that's insane, I never wanna do that"...
you gotta find inspiration for free soloing within yourself and the route...
Just use common sense and don't copy everything you see on the internet.
@@andrazegart I know that very well! I used to record and publish my own fs experiences, too. The problem is that at a certain point it's becoming increasingly hard to be honest to yourself what's the real motivation for your action. The more external motivation (reach, likes, comments) you get, the harder it becomes to be honest to yourself and feel the internal/intrinsic motivation. Do I really wanna do this today? Or am I just doing it because I know it will be celebrated by my followers and thus will boost my self esteem? From my own experience in the past I know that it is very hard to be honest to yourself in these kind of questions. The only way to find out is to tell no one and leave all the cams at home. Post no pictures on social media etc. Only if you can do this and still have the same positive feelings while soloing and be content afterwards (although no one will ever know what you just did) - you're motivation was a true intrinsic one. It's very easy to cheat yourself here. Give it a try ;-)
Free soloing is definitely climbing with an immense consequence when something goes wrong. In everything you do, in the end you should be able to say to yourself, your friends and your family. My joy that this type of climbing 🧗♀️ brings me outweighs in the end the suffering that I will bring upon you, if I make a mistake - if you can make that statement, then I think you are on the right track.
However, i am glad to see you started lead rope solo climbing. Is definitely climbing with deductible consequences.
