Adam busting out that double kick! All that practice paid off.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Before reading the full title, I was thinking, "Hmmmm, this reminds me a lot of Night Verses..."
Love to see Nick being showcased here!
Best drumming shoes ever, especially for double bass
Lol. It was these or stilettos baby.👠
I figured I should address this somewhere since it’s been mentioned a few times.
I used to be a “barefoot only” player. There are several Meinl performance videos on this channel that I recorded without shoes.
But I hated being the guy who had to pop his shoes off at every gig. I felt too “high maintenance”. So I practiced in every pair of shoes that I own, until it didn’t matter.
There was zero forethought into what shoes I wore when I tracked this, but it feels like I broke an unspoken metal rule. I have said 6 Hail Garstkas for my sins. 🙅🏻♂️
But I did spend WAY too much time on my pedal settings, with the vlogs to prove it on my channel. lol. Thanks for watching brother!
dig the boots too
Had the privilege to experience this performance in person at a clinic Adam killed it of course his playing has been inspiring since then.
That’s my guy the best drum teacher on UA-cam💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Appreciate you Joseph! 🙏🏼💜
@@AdamTuminaro thanks you really is a good teacher💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I’d hope people know Nick DePirro by now but if not, listen to Night Verses.
I checked him out - bloody amazing
And they got a new album fresh out!
@@craigfrober316 don’t I KNOW IT
We need more videos of Improta in here
My man, the double bass is sounding great.
Thank you! 🙏🏼💜
Hell yea! Great to see Adam using the double kick 🦵🥁🦵
Thanks Toby!
I love Orlando drummer's great playing so much. 🥰 My first watching was when he use SQ1 and Benny Greb snare drum. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I followed some of your double bass practise Adam, and that sounded nice! Fast bits, and some nice bursts and intricate patterns - it sounded great!
Appreciate you Jonas! It was such a fun challenge; stoked you followed along! 🙌🏼
Man, if I wore shoes like that, I'd have near-zero dexterity. Hats off to the drumming arrangement just as much as the performance here.
I was thinking the same thing!
My man here is having the time of his life!!
Holy shit, double pedal fits well Adam 😮
awesome!
his double bass improved quite a lot.
Thank you! And I dig your username. lol
Fuck yeah dude! Shit hits hard!
Appreciate it! 💪🏼
SOLID
Sounds like Monuments
The shoes
That dry china sounds legit AF
That 1:22 part is insane
@AdamTuminaro do you have a breakdown of this part anywhere by any chance? :D
OOOO I liked 1:32
Same bro, that chop, oooog
Oooh
My favorite part! 🔥 Appreciate you!
🤘🏽🔥
Orlando drummer! Glad to see you on meinl!
Dude has been on Meinl for quite a while....
@@craigjohnchronicles2504 followed him like 10 years ago, been living under a rock!
I think the Foundry Ride gets lost in the mix - there would be better options by Meinl for this kind of music... Polyphonic Ride for example... but thats just me
What kind of pedals are those?
Expensive cymbals these are…. Especially in Canada
Hmmm … 🧐
TFW you change clothes at work so you can drive straight to the restaurant
Don't mind me, I'm just here to complain. The drums in this song sound too real, a more electronic sound would be needed!
That's a first!
Wrong choice of cymbals for this track. Foundry Reserve Light ride on a metal track? What complete waste of a wonderful cymbal. Jazz thin hats and an extra dry thin crash is also ridiculous. Kudos to Adam for trying something different, he's putting in the work with double kick, but showcase these amazing cymbals, not completely lose them on a track that doesn't suit.
Calm down dude
Lol
'there are rules to drumming' kinda comment
It's almost like he normal doesn't play this type of music. Shit sounded fine. Way to bent out of shape for literally nothing.
you would be suprised that many metal drummers with insane technique actually play thin "jazz" cymbals, cause they want to and are able to control the dynamics of the cymbal. a couple of the best mixed metal records are played with extra thin cymbals...If you are not only bashing the hell out of your crashes like a caveman and play a more technical style, thinner cymbals sound a lot better and complex than your average thick ones.
