Nice that you are into Vs. I have one but find it difficult to play while sitting, its super bottom-heavy and feels like it wants to launch off your lap like a giant lever. Simply put: no guitar has it all. Which is why most artists have several styles of guitar in their collection. Sure the V looks and sounds great on stage but for an all-around, versatile, instrument it falls short for composition, practice, and just plain, simple, noodling (because you cant sit with them).
I can agree, sitting with it is tasking, sometimes I even write standing up because it’s easier. Trust me it has plenty of flaws, the biggest being that it comes out of tune every 5 seconds, which is just a Gibson flaw. I’ve definitely had to adapt to it over many years, but I find it to be one of the more versatile guitars, at least for me. I can play the most brutal metal on it or pop or soft rock, you can play exclusively rhythm or you can shred and both are equally earth shattering. IMO one can’t do that with a strat, for example. As great as they sound, I hold a strat and all my brain wants to do is play blues, it just doesn’t have the bottom end for heavy metal imo. but I guess I’m referring to Gibson rather than specifically a V. But for performing, I love the way it sits vs. a les Paul which weighs 100lbs, or an SG that’s so top heavy you end up holding the thing up while trying to play it. And with a V you get a lot of compliments from audiences about how cool it looks!
I really want to love V style guitars, but when I bought one of my own I sold it after less than three months. I didn’t find it comfortable to play compared to superstrat style guitars. Maybe I’m just boring lol
To the people downvoting my videos, don't hide, speak up

I understand that, something I love about guitars is how everyone finds what uniquely suits them
