Just watched it and I'll have to disagree.What they are both saying does make sense, because frankly we do grow and evolve and kinda change, but in the end we remain who we are deep down for our entire lives.
I think the guy from Oasis is just butthurt that his band would never have the following of SOAD where they could go on hiatus for half a decade then come back out of nowhere and play crowds with a higher population than most towns we live in.

Man, i grew up with Oasis and i still love them..especially growing up in the UK. But system of a down are the reason i started playing music..no one can bad mouth them because the fact of the matter is they're bloody brilliant!
Oasis are a good band, but in the end, they are just watered down rock music and I know SOAD isn't going to be Noel's thing. I love SOAD. They're up there with Nirvana, Queens Of The Stone Age, NIN, Radiohead and Tool as one of the best bands in the last 30 years.
