He's at it again!!! I've been telling my team (we're all junior video editors) about channel! We watch your vids all the time. They're wicked fun and helpful
Thank you for sharing these with your peers!! Let me know if you guys have a favorite tutorial or style that you like seeing me explain so I can keep it in mind for future tutorials.
I have watched After Effects tutorials for years, and this is my absolute favorite one I have ever seen. Perfect speed, great explanation. Everything is immaculate. MORE PLEASE!
That is so kind of you to say! I am working on more now and will be adding them to this playlist I made: ua-cam.com/play/PL14RRBW55HP8sBuuPqr7IhTriGpR_leEI.html&si=ypfrwWDbtVoHrOKW
Hello, thank you for the tutorial. At 09.15 -after matte- when i do that i can still see some low opacity ink outside of the outline. inside is black, but outsidehave a little bit ink with outline color :/ what is the problem?
Thanks for watching the tutorial and following along! Does your ink bleed have any gray in it? If it doesn't go completely black, then you will still see some edges if there's anything other than black. If that's the case, I suggest creating a mask around the ink bleed and slightly feather the edges. You may have to scale it but that could help. Also, double check to make sure your opacity is at 100%! Hope that helps!
Unfortunately I cannot redistribute assets for free that have a paywall. Should I do a tutorial on how to make them? There are several free ones out there for you to use: www.premiumbeat.com/blog/free-ink-mattes-for-video-editing-and-motion-design/
@@createdaley Wow!! Thanks for such a fast reply. Completely understandable, and I really appreciate the link. I was gonna try to figure out a workaround right now, after all, the experience involves figuring out solutions to your problems. Only that as it's my first day with the software (and I'm already trying this lol) it's been a bit harder. I have a bit of experience with Premiere Pro and Photoshop so it's fine. About the video, you should do whatever you want. After all, some things are super specific and will not reach a broad audience, so it's up to you to decide. Thanks for everything dude

So just double checking, if you go to composition settings and click "3d Renderer" is yours set to "Classic 3D"? Because that was the only way I could get the blend modes to work on a 3D layer. Otherwise the entire project turns into a funky glitch if I turn the "Kentucky Outline" layer into a 3D one because there is a blend mode applied to it

It's a bit sad that I wanted to download the Ink Matte and stumbled upon a paywall...

You are correct! Make sure to stay in classic 3D
hi, what is shortcut for cycle modes in premier pro?
For blend modes? I use Alt + or Alt - in AE. I don’t think premiere has that feature
dont let gaps on the tut dude
Sounds good!
