I didn't handle any of the music data and unfortunately don't know much about it. I'd say to join the discord server in this video's description and ask for more help there, as we have lots of talented people who can provide more assistance.

For Yoshi Valley, which artwork are you talking about? I can only see the elevated egg in the official Strategy Guide's artwork, not the Exit sign.
They are included in various Japanese manuals for the game (there's a lot of them)
Am I out of luck if I want to see these files on Blender?
No, I'm pretty sure he used an off the shelf ripper which rips to a program both 3ds Max and Blender can use
