This helped me fix my Razer Taipan! I had already taken it apart 3 times and tried putting a bit of tape on the top of the clicker to make it press deeper but that wouldn't work. Adjusting the spring has fixed it perfectly and the click feels as deep as it was originally. Thanks!
thanks alot you just saved me alot of money. every video suggest replacing the switch box which needs soldering youre the only one who opened it and fixed the actual box.
I have been using G300s for 8 years. I'm on my second one for my desktop and I have one on my laptop. Great mouse. I did this fix years ago and remember it being a chore. I decided to look for videos to see if there were some tips before I tried to do it again. I was pleased to see that one of the first videos that popped up had my same mouse. Your description about reinstalling the copper part really helped. Flat end under the hook first and then the loop end slides in sideways under the hook at the other side. Very easy. Saved me a bunch of time, learned how the piece flexes to make the mouse click, and picked up a new skill. Thank you.
okay, not showing the part where you actually remove the cover is not cool. if you ever re-record this video or update it, just make sure you do that, and if you forget, then just go back and fix it. if it's a part where people need to be careful while doing it, bc otherwise they might damage or lose pieces, then its maybe, just maybe, a good idea to actually show how to do it well
I was able to use a tweezers to bend the metal clip up without taking it off. Fixed my Zowie FK1 mouse in just five minutes. Works perfect, other than needing replacement rubber sliders lol.
Thank you man I fixed my double clicking mouse using your guide. Although the click feels a little bit harder to press, you saved an old logitech mouse from going into trash!
Might try this sometime this week, my mouse recently double right clicks on 1 singular click, otherwise going to replace it, so nothing to lose with trying this.
I'm so thankful a guide like this exists! Unfortunately, when I took off the cap for the switch, the button flew off on both and I couldn't find them cause they're so small, so be careful. Luckily I had a spare mouse to take them from, so yeah!
Just got done fixing my mouse, thanks for the video. Tip to everyone else, be very careful using the flat head to remove the black cover. I slowly removed it with a small flathead. The biggest pain for me was putting the spring back in.
The rear bar which holds the spring extends upwards like 3/8ths of an inch, and when you lower it on to the back of the spring instead, it tensions it in place perfectly.
Thanks brother for posting this video , really helped me fix my logitech mouse A tip for others , use a polyethene bag and then keep the mouse inside it and perform whatever switch you have to fix because the copper switch is pretty springy Also take a picture with closeups from each angle before starting to fix the curve
That worked for Logitech M185, thank you. Also you don't have to take out the metallic part, I think better to squeeze it in place with some tweezers, otherwise putting it back not an easy task.
Thank you so much man, I got a Glorious model o and its left mouse button was clicking if I put to much pressure now when i click it doesnt happend anymore I thought of buying another one but I tried to fix it first and I ended up not buying another model o You earned a sub

Great video. Unfortunately, the mouse I tried to fix, Logitec G602, has much smaller springs and it was futile. So, I reprogrammed the buttons so the Right Click Button is now the Left Click Function and one of the side buttons controls the Right Click Function. It's not too bad. I'll get used to it. Thanks for the excellent video and the written description. BC

If you are a minecraft bedwars geek, you would like hes mice. Considering bedwars player use double clicking mouse to click faster. Someone mouse use it as a feature by settnig the debounce to 0. this mouse is good, but id rather use adjustable debounce time mices.
me who fixed this issue same way, didn't know it's called double click, I called it too sensitive switch. was looking for people having issue with mice after 6 months of usage.
When I got to the step where I was supposed to bend the spring, I stopped. My spring had good tension. It wasn't sticking. So I removed PCB, washed the plastic parts of the mouse using warm water and a tooth brush. Then I blew the parts dry with canned air and reassembled. Maybe that will do it.
Thanks for postingthis online, I already fixed my mouse as per your instruction but one thing I noticed about my mouse is the switch I think placed in a wrong way for mine in the mouse factory I mean... The white button of the switch is on the left side of the switch box but its curve is on the right side.. Is there something wrong with that?
Jesus Christ, I've repaired many things in my day, but getting the little thing back on was one of the most frustrating things I've had to endure in a long while. HyperX apparently uses an especially tricky switch design. I spent more than an hour trying to get everything back into place. No double clicking though, so thanks for the video man! Next time I think I'll just buy a new mouse though. This was not worth the nuisance.
The rear bar that holds the spring extends outwards like 3/8ths of an inch, and when you lower it on to the back of the spring instead, it tensions it in place perfectly. After nearly an hour of fiddling with the tension, that made it work instantly.
@Valchrist1313 Yeah I think I sort of got the hang of it near the end there, but even knowing perfectly what I had to do it took 20 more attempts. And the spring jumped out a few times so I had to look for it under my desk more than once. All in all, a really finicky little fix.
Can you make a tutorial that helps with the mouse, because i've changed the mouse 2 times and it's still double clicking, can u fix it with the laptop?
Thanks. I was emboldened to dismantle my mouse ans fix it with 5x eyeglasses{when you are over 40}, spit{or masking tape to hold the button in place{, screwdriver, needle and tweezers.
Open an old mouse, open the microswitch recctangular box, take out the wierd shaped metal thingy, stick it in your broken mouse, no soldering required. If you don't have an old mouse, order a microswitch for a couple dollars and take that metal thingy out.
ok you dont have to do all that. I just grabbed my air duster can and sprayed into the gap of the mouse button and it fixed it all. Also cleaned up a bit with a cotton bud inside the mouse and around the button.
i fixed it without disassembly by pressing the left and right click buttons hard, but not too hard until it breaks for 10 seconds, blowing through the holes on the mouse where the click buttons are and shaking rapidly, repeating until it works. my mouse was double clicking 50% of the time and now it only double clicks once out of every 100 clicks, thanks reddit
@@Clathios im gonna be honest, this worked for like a couple hours and the double clicking came back, i had to manually unbend the copper spring in the mouse in order to fix it for a couple days and it would break again. better to just buy a new mouse, preferrably an optical switch mouse so you don't have to deal with double clicking in the future. Just bought a zowie sc-2 and im confident it will never double click again
You can just open the side button or any slightly used one and just change the spring and you dont need to do the bending stuff "wich is working but dont last long and feels shit".

If you are here watching this video to fix your mouse you are FAR BETTER OFF learning to solder or replacing the mouse, your likelihood of success is low.
pro tip: fuck this noise, today i had a Q tip on my desk and decided to rip a bit of cotton off and stick it in front portion of the left click next to the scroll wheel. problem fucking solved.
