Logitech have really nice budget silent to start with. Bought m330 and its really great for general purpose. Also its really cheap, similar with other general clicky mouse
Pro Tip: When removing older switches, leave the solder on the middle pad. When you go to solder in the new switch heat up the pad and the switch will slide right in. You can then solder the other two points in easily without having to worry about the switch being flush with the PCB or moving around. :)
My G305 started double clicking recently and I thought it was toast. I went out and but a superlight, but honestly didn't love it, especially for the price. A couple days later I saw this video and since I already have a soldering kit, I bought the silent switches off aliexpress and made the swap today, and now my G305 is better than ever! Just did this mod. Thanks wildcat. Everyone is talking about how quiet they are, but they also rebound fast. The standard omrons on the g305 kind of bind up on me if I try to quickly click with minimal travel. The omrons won't lift back up without me taking alot of pressure of my finger. The kailh silent however.... rebound nice and quick with no effort. So I'm back to clicking quick again. The only other clicks that were even close to this good for me were the g303's (in reference to speed).
