  • Testing the 2.3M FMS Fox aerobatic glider. This is a bit different from my usual style of flying, but still really fun!

By far my most favorite channel on UA-cam. I'm not into gliders myself but again this video is well done and very informative. As always great flying and content. Keep them coming!!

I have the V1 fox since 10 years (I must confess, I had more than one of them, but lost one due to broken receiver, and another after a midair with a big towplane) and it still performs well. The V1 doesn't have the flaps. Other than that it performs still very well. I completed a pair of wings with LED's to have a night aerobatic glider...
After 10 years everything weared out quite a bit, it has no resell value whatever, but it is still to launch it now and then.
If you're looking for a good foam glider, capable of thermals for quite some time this isn't the right plane. But if you're looking for a good foam aerobatic glider, this is the sweet spot.

So did you only do aerobatics with the motor on?

I also did a bit of climbing with motor on, and then doing aerobatics with motor off, but it takes a long time to get good altitude, and the plane loses energy very quickly, so there's not a lot of time to actually enjoy motor off aerobatics (like you would do with some bigger composite glider).
