Man these were the best days for Roadkill. Frieburger still wore his weird hats, Mike's beard still looked strange, and they were still genuinely excited about shooting the episode. I miss the good old days, lol.
Re-watching this 'cause it reminds me how much I used to love Roadkill before it was shuttered away by corporate types and made inaccessible to much of the rest of the Western world... Anywho, also chuckling away at "Skinny Mike" and thinking how well Freiburger wore the face fur :D
Road Kill the best show ever !!!!! made me dream of going to the states to watch Drag Week. i did and we built and raced an Aussie Barra powered Fox with success . life goals thank you Finnigan and Frieburger
I’ve seen every episode, roadkill garage too. As well as all the other content. Well worth the $5 a month. Lot cheaper than a mag subscription…I stopped subscribing to HR and Car Craft mags.
@@kw2519 and the point that people like you miss, is we as a UA-cam audience built this show to what it is through views and subscriptions only to get stabbed in the back for more money
@@patsgarage8593 UA-cam stopped building the show a year after it started. It’s been growing for years and it branches into other content. You used to be fine with paying them $11 a month for a magazine. I view it the same way. I’m sorry if you think $5 is a hill to die on. I want to see David make money. I’m happy for them.
Where I live they moved MT TV to a more expensive channel tier. I'd have to pay an extra $50/mo to watch Roadkill, and that is the only show worth watching on that tier. I'm pissed!
Probably one of the most personal builds on roadkill but why this has only been up for 16 hours has me curious? As for my interest , a gasser and a Chevvy tri five with a good v8 ,frame and modern good stuff is the kid in me being vicarious and knowing then that , my dreams could have been a reality.
I have a dream that someone should take a 57 Chevy bel air sports coupe, the 4 door pillarless body shell, and merge it with a nomad or 510 estate body. It would be the ‘caberllero’ estate of the Chevy brand that they should of built .
A show killed by greed. So sad that you have to pay to watch this and then on top of that you have to pay to be able to watch it. Corporate agreed, ain't it fantastic....
I miss roadkill being free oh well they were bound to charge $$$. There website stinks I put down charge me each month and they charged me for a full year ! I canceled it won't ever watch again !
Ha ,ha ,ha , I had a few friends in h.s. I didn’t want a piece of. One of my stupid friends older brother built a 56 that was fast . For a Chevrolet. Just saying

At the end of the day, they can’t make the show without money and motor trend provides that money.

The best couple on Motortrend. I love this episode. Good ol style of hotrodding but with some money alright
I miss roadkill used to be my favorite series till they got greedy

Is this the Mopar crate 528 Hemi?
What about putting in a 600 cubic inch Hemi with a 871 or 2 108 mmmm turbos
I don’t know how you guys are doing this in 15 days. Every time I need a part it’s on back order, 6 months on average.
This was years before the plandemic.
This was a LONG time ago
Cool
That's so weird to hear Finnegan's voice, it sounds like he hasn't hit puberty yet.
Don't know why I was expecting something new or original...
Dose it run yet?
What's with the Volvo Duett in the background!?!!!?!
Yes. I want to know!
should call it Blow Upski, never seen a car blow up more hemi's

I didnt have a problem to pay few bucks for MTOD. Lots of good content. But then they pulled the plug for most of the world.
Yeah
Naming a car after the worst sin towards god, America is thriving
You don't understand do you 😅 it's called blasp"HEMI" because it's blasphemy to put a Mopar HEMI in a Chevy
That's the best you can come up with for the worst sin?
Spoiler. It runs 8.5
Seems like yesterday
For real stop the recaps. The episodes shown in this are free already why show recaps over and over

My dear Americans do you know what fuel efficiency is?? Or you just know gas gazzler??
Not in the 60s when the HEMI came out no. No one did back then 🙄
We don't know what a gas gazzler is.
