2024 Tata Nexon Facelift NEW MODEL Launched | Smart (O) - 7.99 LAKHS | XUV 3XO से डर गए क्या 👻

Tata has launched new base variants for both petrol and diesel engines, and there’s a significant price revision for the lower-end variants under the Smart Persona initiative. Let’s dive into the details.”
“Over the past three years, the Tata Nexon has led the SUV market in India. However, in April 2024, the Nexon experienced a decline in sales1. This seems to be due to the entry of the Mahindra XUV 3XO into the market and the rising popularity of Tata’s own sibling, the Punch. But Tata is determined to revitalize Nexon sales and has introduced new base variants for both petrol and diesel engines.”
New Petrol Variants
"Let’s start with the petrol variants. The new base petrol variant, called Smart (O), starts at a lower price point of Rs. 7.99 lakh. It’s not clear whether this sits below the previous base Smart Petrol 5MT variant or replaces it entirely. For reference, the Smart Petrol 5MT was priced at Rs. 8.15 lakh.
But that’s not all. Tata has also slashed the price of the Smart+ Petrol 5MT variant by Rs. 31,000. This variant used to cost Rs. 9.2 lakh, and the new price is Rs. 8.89 lakh. Despite the price cut, Tata has added a reverse camera feature with the Smart+ Petrol 5MT.
The biggest price-slashing exercise is with the Smart+ S Petrol 5MT variant. Previously, it used to cost Rs. 9.8 lakh. Now, it costs Rs. 9.39 lakh, down by around Rs. 41,000."
New Diesel Variants]
"Moving on to the diesel variants. The most appreciable aspect of this update to Nexon is that the company is now offering diesel engines right from the base Smart trim. Up until now, diesel engines were only accessible from Pure Persona onwards. So, the most affordable diesel variant with Nexon was Pure Diesel 6MT priced at Rs. 11.10 lakh.
With this update, Nexon gets a diesel engine for Rs. 1.1 lakh cheaper than it did before. Thanks to the new Smart+ Diesel 6MT variant priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh and Smart+ S Diesel 6MT priced at Rs. 10.59 lakh1. The new base Diesel variant (Smart+ Diesel 6MT) gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen by Harman with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, reverse camera, shark fin antenna, steering mounted controls, all four power windows and electrically adjustable ORVMs."
