MAN trucks presence was there long back... Remember shakti MAN trucks in indian army... But the down fall of MAN begin when bharat benz trucks and buses started operations and demand for MAN trucks and buses became less... Bharat benz started operations and also expanded in India rapidly... Their trucks become more popular and their marketing was also solid.... Nice to see👍
Bharat benz is almost successfull because it gives confidence of mercedez brand at economical range. If the same was launched with mercedez benz branding, the brand might be as successful as it is today.
@@motorshaala on the contry we have merc benz trucks actros and buses .... but due to maintenance and parts being costly followed by less resale value it did not find much success...

Aapne main point to bataya hi nahi. India ke Transport Sector me bohot zyada corruption hai. Transporter ko regularly RTO, local traffic police, aur pata nahi kis kisko paise dene padte hain, jiski wajah se truck operators achche trucks afford nahi kar sakte. Upar se fuel ki cost aur toll charges bohot zyada hain.
Government apne corruption ko rokne me 100% fail hai 😢

VNL brand can only come in india when our roads are wide enough and practical for very long haulage trucks. But i don't think then also operators will buy it because the transportaion cost will increase and nobody wants to loose customer who can get cheap offers from desi truckers.
