Apparently it's only valid on your very first purchase. I was trying to make my second purchase and heck they offered to refund me the discount on the previous order, which I thought was damn good of them. I have a cavachon. They are notoriously picky, apathetic eaters. I would actually spoon feed him at times, just to get him to eat on some kind of schedule while potty training. Then I get some Viva Raw and try to introduce it very slowly and by day 5 he's at the refrigerator door crying and whimpering for more.
I am definitely using your code once I adopt a dog soon this year! Your videos are very helpful, and I only want whats best for my dog!
I’ve been using Viva raw to feed my dog for about a year now (or more). I absolutely love Viva, I’ve researched and researched and researched to try and find a different one to see if I could find a cheaper one that’s just as good and I haven’t been able to. They are the most economical with the highest quality, highly recommend!!!
they have food for puppy?
@@nandahcalek6258 I started to feed my dog raw once he was already 2 years old, so im not sure if the puppy raw requirements are different. I would go on their website if I were you and contact them directly
Did you try Answers? I’ve been using them for my puppy for 2 months but they have production issues and their turkey which I’ve been using is out of stock. Thinking of trying Viva
@@nandahcalek6258 puppies eat raw in nature and usually gnaws the bones. I started my puppy on the kibble he was eating topped with K9 Natural freeze dried raw hoki & beef, and he would never eat the kibble. Now he only eats freeze-dried and about to transition to Vivaraw! (He’s 1 now. No health issues, luscious coat, soooo much energy.)
My con is cost, we feed our 4 Goldens with about all the ingredients she has disgust, primarily because we have gardens and grow our chemical free veggies. We also have access to excellent meat at reasonable prices. My point is ,we save hundreds of dollars by making our own. Difference is the work and time in preparation. Otherwise it would cost thousands to buy Viva. No doubt, they provide an excellent food source.
I would love to see more of these kind of videos and maybe even how to balance some of the pmr diets to make them complete.

Great video was looking for a raw food for my boys for when we go on vacation for it can be easer to feed when we away on vacation and saves time on preparing the boys food . Is this your top rated raw dog food you reviewed. Keep up the great work Luca & Machito are big fans

I just started feeding viva to my adult dog. Does anyone know if i also need to add extra supplements to it? My dog also started suffering with his legs. I think its his joints. Do i need to give him and joint supplement?

We JUST ordered our very first meat package from Viva for our pup. We're doing the "Complete" version for her for right now, started with getting just 10lbs, 4lbs of beef, 4lbs of turkey and 2lbs of duck, we're gonna see how our pup likes it first before we make an official decision to continue buying from viva.....I've been struggling lately with getting a routine down with my pup, She's about 3 1/2 months old and has been on a raw diet since we got her at about 6wks old, first I mixed raw with kibble and eventually she went to straight raw, I also got the "Ground" version bc I haven't given her very much chunked meat yet....she still is at a place where she will refuse a meal when I give it to her sometimes, or in the morning she usually will not even want to eat a thing until after a couple hours goes by, and even then she will refuse her meal sometimes, I'm desperately trying to get her eating at LEAST 2-3 times a day since she's growing, so it's still a struggle sometimes....but I'm hoping she will come around and start eating normal soon, praying that with VIVA she will start to come around!!! Thank you so much for this video and opening me up to Viva Raw. And I watch mainly YOUR videos when I need information on Raw feeding my pets, I have 2 cats that I'm also JUST starting to raw feed using wet cat food, grinding up some meat and mixing it into their wet cat food, as of right now the cats won't touch raw meat unless it's mixed with the wet cat food, EXCEPT for small oily fish like sardines or even some salmon they will eat but anything else they won't yet! They will get there tho....Anyway, thanks for the info, can't wait to receive my meat package next week!!!!
I think i'll be ordering some of the novel meats to mix in to my standard mix. My dogs love the elk and venison they get, so I'm interested to see what they do with Emu and Bison.
sounds great. I wish it was easier to source a second secreting organ. with these we would still have to source kidney, pancreas, brain...etc! but I plan on trying this soon
I didn’t know about this brand! Definitely something to check out. One I see often though is WeFeedRaw and I’ve highly started considering them. I wonder what your take on them would be? They seem similar to Viva on how they formulate their complete meal packages but I’m curious about the pros and cons
Thanks for all your videos!! I do have a question for you that I'm hoping you can help me with. I ordered viva for my dog and he just will not eat it!! I've tried doing the beef and the emu mixes and he has turned his nose up at both. I tried lightly cooking them next, and also tried mixing it with his favorite treats. The most he will do is taste it and spit it out. But he was eating raw meat from a different source with no issues. Do you think there is just something in their recipes he doesn't like? I'm so stuck. :(
How do you feel about the Know Better Pet food brand, which is like a dried powder you mix with water and ground or chopped meat. I'm particularly looking at it for cats, and because its on the Raw Feeding Miami site. I know its alot of dried ingredients and supplements to balance

I have a question if you don’t mind answering. Can I switch my dog from kibble to raw while also testing for food allergies? For example, can I slowly switch my elderly dog to a PMR pure rabbit recipe? Will there be issues with it being unbalanced or the fact that it’s raw?

@@RaquellyReacts for the west coast it’s even more. I live in Cali and it’s 150+ for shipping for 30 ib. Mind you my corso would eat 3 ibs a day 😓. I wish I could be able to try it but that’s just not feasible for me
@@denisepinales8114 wow that’s a lot. My girl weights 14lbs and only needs about 450 calories which is about 1/3 of a pound or 6 meals per packet which comes to a little over a dollar a day for mine. But wow it’s so much more to feed a bigger dog. I heard they’re working on opening more locations to bring down the cost in the west coast so maybe soon you’ll be able to do it.

It's hard to get pre-made raw in other countries but also from what I have seen it's quite costly, you also have to work out shipping because these things need to be frozen and can't be left on the porch or under the sun for long periods of times. Even though some pre-made raw is good, also it makes it easier for pet owners, making it from scratch is less expensive and you always know whats in the food and you can costimize it to the needs of your pets. This depends on a few things. How active your dogs is, does he need to maintain weight, lose weight or gain weight. Based on a general recommendation, one pack (they are 2lbs each) would last you one day
I also saw online egan dog food!?!? what do you think about those?? There are plenty of vegan food for dogs, even if it was balanced would u recommend peopel feed it to their dogs? I'm just curious bc i came across it online, and I never thoughts abt vegan dog food, but then again there are many people that are vegan or prefer to feed thier dog that way
Veganism isn’t a great option for pets, especially cats (they’re obligate carnivores).
A lot of nutrients are best derived from animal proteins, so while you could feed your dog a vegan diet, I doubt your dog will thrive on it.

Personally, if I ever see any pet food company offer a vegan formula, it is a huge red flag for me and I stay far away. Dogs and cats are carnivores, they need meat. It’s just how they are biologically built. If you ever come across someone feeding their dog/cat vegan, nicely inform them that it’s not good for their pet’s health. Don’t judge them! That won’t make anyone listen. they are just misinformed, no need for judgement :)

A raw group on Facebook is saying this brand doesn't have enough nutrients or balance. I want to use this brand to cut down my prep but is that true? If so what would I add to the complete to make sure my pup is getting all the nutrients she needs? Desperate and trying to make sense of nutrient requirements😔 so many people saying different things

@@rarespiritwendy the complete formula. Raw feeding university is the group, and dog nutritionists were saying the ingredients they use don't have enough of a specific nutrient. I was hoping to order viva complete and put toppers on.
Right, the ingredients used are plant-based so a little questionable on bioavailability there, but the formulation was done by a few holistic vets and other nutritionists (not sure who besides Dr. Judy Morgan) so at this point it's really up to your discretion. My suggestion is to rotate between balanced pre-mades!

"Cod liver oil powder"????? I think the new label has taken out the word "powder" but I have not looked very recently. Pretty sure that if the fish oil has somehow been powdered then it is not fresh and not a great thing. Otherwise, Viva Raw has a great reputation and is highly recommended by experts. None the less, email the company and ask about powdered fish oil.
