Still rocking 2005 fx35 …❤ 18 years and no probs … Just 6 month oil changes and other basic maintenance… Only crankshaft replaced 😂 ($200) FX35 forLIFE ❤
11:59 oh the FX45 is quick. Not by hellcat standards. But for 320hp it’s a grab n go type of thing. To get up to freeway speeds or maneuvering to a corner is effortless. And the exhaust has a deep throaty V8 sound. I’d also say the suspension is stiffer on the 45. Oh man what a car 🔥
Ive had both fx45 and fx35 and yes, fx45 is more fun, more power, sound, but with little engine mods you can get more power to fx35. Plus its easy to work with vq35de engine. Now i oen 2007year fx35. Did all mods and im super happy with it. ;)
I drive a 3 second 0-60 daily but I just picked up a near mint 04 fx35 w/ 133k. I always wanted one of these beauties for the sporty looks and notable exhaust note. The first gen looks better than many of the current compact suv’s. Clean, well maintained fx’s are also getting pretty hard to find. I love my fx!
I really like this model of fx. I think it’s one of the best looking cars honestly. The newer version is decent but nowhere near as good looking from outside
I had a 2004 FX35 and still have a 2010. The 2004 has a better exhaust note by far and the transmission felt more direct. The 2010 is easier to drive fast in the twisties, has a better turning radiu, and the all around camera is amazing. They both look good in my opinion with the 2004 looking a little more masculine. Both amazing vehicles in my opinion.
It looks pretty good for a crossover / SUV, i tend to shit on them, but this is an exception, my dads got the ‘08 FX35 and close to 200K miles and it’s still going strong, no big issues, only small ones like exhaust rattle, we believe it’s a loose heat shield, only complaint from me is that there is no Bluetooth or aux input, correct me if I’m wrong but Lexus and Acura had aux and Bluetooth inputs in their SUVs, but overall it’s a great sports SUV
Good review, love mine same year and trim. Also random question.. do you know how to change the navigation to show up night mode when the headlights are on. I try toggling the button that should do it but it just changes to auto brightness and back
This car was so goood back then. Way ahead of Lexus and Acura at that time but why’d Infiniti do all that renaming and ended up replacing it with that trash qx55
@@DMCarReviews I'm just saying the pathfinder back then had a big 4.0 and got the same mileage and is probably just as quick lol. I've raced these in my 2.5 and definitely idk what smiles per gallon you're talking about. Maybe with the v8 bjt they aren't even beating my lowly hp out on the road but I guess for the time when it came out in 2003 it was good..

Oh yeah.
The dashboard bubble!!😢
js got one 107k miles on it, shi imma need some advice😭
How many miles
I love my infinity best car I ever had
When Infiniti was actually good and not some overpriced CVT crap.
I don't mind the CVT when it's paired with the V6. I think the 7-speed is the best one
q50, q60...

Second gen exterior was a big downgrade as well as the exhaust note. Had a choice between the two and albeit the older tech, went with a first gen.

I love the 2009+ body style more. We had one in the family a long time ago. It was a blue slate. Really awesome car!

Not sure about the bluetooth! I guess it depends on the models. They are amazing vehicles
Bluetooth music streaming is easy to add. Just get a USA spec module and plug it into the back of the stereo.
That is such a cool car!
I have a Nissan murano z50 and it's amazing but it has svt transmation but still powerful suv and that vq35 v6 engine sounds Incredible

Thank you! I'd have to see if I got access to that kind of car again. There should be a day/night button toggle that switches it by the map settings
@@DMCarReviews Thanks, just thought I would ask. Appreciate it and again good review.
@@TraverseNowhere Of course! Thank you very much.
I have one. She is awesome. 140k on mileage. Baby her. Very fast
Great car!
Great review.
Thank you very much!

I agree! As if someone intentionally destroyed the brand...
A 2011 or 2012 Lexus rx 350 would be nice
I got you :)
How do you think this compares to a 2006 g35 sedan in the 0 to 60?
The G35 will probably be half a second quicker, maybe one second... assuming good condition
Any recommendations on a brands for lower control arms?
No idea to be honest
I got a 2008 G35XS
How do you set the gps on this car.
Not sure
Would love to see a 2014 Honda Accord with the V6 test drive just saying...
I'll look for one!
@@DMCarReviews Like the reviews keep up the great work.
@@jeepluv76 Thank you so much!
put inlet and outlet and there will be a rocket
I love mind just need a good mechanic to work on not one that take ur money
My transmission went out
That sucks! Hope you can get it fixed.
Funny hownthe same engine gets 20/28 in the murano and this is 15/20. Ouch...
5 speed auto vs CVT I guess
This car is heavier
@@DMCarReviews still ouch that's like 4.0 3 row pathfinder numbers.
@@occckid123Who cares? It's not miles per gallon, it's smiles per gallon. Care about mpg's, buy a Prius😂
