Solar telescopes are pretty different than ordinary telescopes. These dedicated solar telescopes give amazing views of the sun. In this video, we have explained how these solar telescopes work.

this voice grates me
Nice explanation, thanks!
Just started looking into solar astronomy and this was a big help. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Saw the sun the other day for the first time in my telescope
Actually give me a sec ... theres a big dot in the middle of my eye
Thanks.
I have a 80 mm by 600 mm refractor telescope is there a certain size 82 mm or 86 mm
What happens if I try using a 2" Ha filter at the eyepiece end with a typical Baader white filter in front of my primary? Will this work for photography?
If you want to do just white light photography you only need a white light filter. The Baader should be sufficient on its own. I have a glass NiSi I use with my Nikon Coolpix p1000. Works just fine for capturing white light photos of the sun with the sun spots.
H-alpha on the other hand, there's a lot more complexity to it. I wouldn't recommend trying to make makeshift filters.
But for white light you should be good to go with just the Baader at the front of the telescope.
Flat earthers didn't like this video.
I doubt flat minds watch this type of videos
@@ulisessolis3182 they like lying to themselves
Its ok though ... they're really trying hard to keep that GOD relevant
Everything revolves around the earth thing they like to obsess with
Horrific cackling Kamala Harris voice.
