The furries in the room were so flabbergasted that all the headpieces came off. The group of tekken bros watching in the corner started hoisting their fight sticks above their head and made gorilla noises. It was a magical moment.

While I think Terry's explosive options can help hit his roy more, I think Kola can work around that and use his aggressiveness and disjoints to snuff out Terry but I'd like to see the mu happen

Kola is insanely fun to watch and if we as a community start slowly drifting back into aggressive fun playstyles instead of lame camping for ridiculous free 80% punishes I'd be so happy. Yes, I Always play this way with Ganon especially when I’m mad af from toxic people, playing aggressive and smart brings out the best in me and Kola is a living example of that with Roy🔥

I always thought that Roy is mid, for the exact reasons that you clarified in this video. You just have to be really consistent with constant pressure, and I think that one of the reasons its harder with Roy is cause he is also part sword-fighter. Think about it, how many other sword-fighters are there that are also rushdown counterpart? Zero. Meanwhile, Fox for example, brawler archetype, has an easier time with pressure you could say, cause he has dash attack, which is way faster, easier to hit, and leads to almost everything in his kit.
For sure agree with this and it just makes Kola's performance all the more impressive imo. Circumventing the weak parts of his character to top players is godlike
@@ShintaSmash Yeah fr. Yeah also like what I was trying to say, is that there are definitely other characters who have better tools than Roy that allow for an easier time and more consistent way to pressure opponents.

I am a huge Kola fan, but this whole narrative thing is badly set up, the intro is too long for no real reason imo, while staying pretty uninformative and you are just saying words when talking about Kola's gameplay like "unrelenting focus, applied consistent pressure"...
Sorry ya feel that way bud. Trying to add a bit of narrative over my normal montages but still working on things. Next time :)

I miss when Roy had a grab game and tech chases, sure he's good now but he gets kind of boring after a while
