Great to hear the strongest character who is incapable of counting years sing this with their siblings. Who knows maybe they have 2 different measurements for years on a single planet, one “galactic” year system and one local year system. With the timeline suddenly being incredibly relevant to the clockmaker’s story this makes me incredibly worried.

Realistically she should be 23 at the youngest and 30ish at the oldest. 16 just doesn’t work. The timeline is very relevant to the story now because, and now it’s big spoiler time, Misha and Mikhail are 100% the same person (I can elaborate on the prof if necessary). This means that, assuming Gallagher isn’t a history fictionologist which wouldn’t make much sense, Misha is the second clockmaker and hasn’t been for very long. However, Misha became the clockmaker after the first clockmaker DIED, which means at every point in time there is exactly 1 clockmaker which means every action must be attributed to one of them in a strictly chronological sense as this plays an important role in justifying Gallagher’s actions, justifying the family’s actions, and, perhaps most importantly, determining whether Clockie is a horrible villain or not. If they screw up the time line again suddenly none of this intricate political web works anymore. Worst case scenario some writer takes Gallagher’s “I’m Death Thirteen” bit as him actually being 13 years old which would mean penacony was embroiled in a full scale civil war with a massive shift in power less than a decade ago and no one saw fit to mention that until now.
Well hate to break it to you but hoyo has very terrible story writing and this isn't the first time it ever happened. Countless of times happened in their first game houkai 3rd impact. Tons of retcons and tons of abandoned story concepts. And countless unexplained bs that they have spout with no resolution whatsoever. Hoyo just doesn't have good writing, they can't make everything simple to understand it's like they are allergic to being simple. Hoyo just has a lot of inconsistency and doesn't like to keep things all in one track. Another good example of this mess is Jizo Mitama and the whole A Post Honkai Odyssey stories/lore. It's such a mess, one is retconned and the other is forgotten to bits.

The writing of the story has not been good and so many plotholes and inconsistency that hasnt been changed over the course of the game. These different writers have a single brain cell of just not being good at writing a good story.
Oh my gosh, the Landaus can BELT for their lives. That final section when they're all in union - they'd be a force to be reckoned with alongside each other in battle (in fact, I used to run the three of them (and beat Cocolia) with Dan Heng and it's not exactly fast but it gets there in the end because they're a team that just won't die!). Absolutely fantastic job by Risa, Bryson and Natalie, and thank you so much to Nicholas for organising and mixing this for us. HSR fans are truly blessed.

If I were to use only one sentence to explain the reason why all the guardians fought for Jarilo VI it would be... "Nothing is lost, while *courage* remains." It always amazed me that no matter how many people died or no matter how much of the planet they slowly kept on losing.... Their will to stop the seemingly unstoppable force was never broken. Instead, they fought even harder than before! They were willing to fight for every inch of ground they lost and no matter how bleak their future was. They still held on to a little hope that some miracle would save them. And well, it worked out well for them, because we managed to end up arriving on this planet and you probably know what comes next.
