k s Unless you have been trained in a few countries like US, UK and a few others you will unfortunately never being able to work as an ophthalmologist in Canada. You would have to repeat you 5+ years of residency and fellowship but there will be no ophthalmology residency spots available after Canadian students select their residencies.

You can get on plain paper from your senior and he can mention email and phone no in that letter and sign it.

Chaitan Stark Singles can definitely do fine in Canada if you find roommates, etc. If a couple moves both can share expenses and you have 2 salaries. You also know someone so moving isn’t as daunting a prospect.

Not only Europeans, there are many who contributed to Canada's progress, just like US and UK. I am not sure whats wrong to have a brand which is famous for integrity, honesty and truth. I love Canadian and European culture, I have traveled to many countries in Europe & I will absolutely appreciate the good in their culture. Please dont be so against immigrants my friend. At least most of us Indians have no plans of changing your culture or heritage. We actually want to participate in Canadian culture and traditions. So my hand is always extended for friendship and camaraderie :)

It’s not affordable to live in Canada. It’s a nice place and I love it but it is so difficult to get by. Half of Canadians live paycheque to paycheque. You won’t become rich coming to Canada no matter how hard you try. Taxes are ridiculous, no affordable housing. Newcomers rack up so much debt trying to live they never pay it off and end up having to leave.

This is a basic reply; I have 2 answers. 1) Canada's provinces choose how many people they each let in (Ottawa has final say but each province picks its own numbers); This allows for greater success of job finding and integration. e.g. A dentist goes where dentists are needed and finds gainful employment far easier. Whereas Australia (as of Nov. 2018) has general immigration, and people can settle wherever they want, most of them pooling into cities. Australia also has occupation ceilings; If a certain number of dentists have been admitted, then no more that year may be let in. 2) It costs more to immigrate to Australia; The literal process of applying to the country can cost 3 times as much in Australia as it does in Canada.

Raj Pawar Finding a job abroad is very difficult unless you already have the status to work in Canada. If you got PR you would also have to go through the training and exams to become a licensed electrician.
