Awesome video
if u could ask people how they manage to overcome with all these struggles and i think it will be helpful for other immigrants
Hello I like you guys but Do you only socialize with your own meaning immigrants From India. How about other nations, or you guys don’t mix with other race. Just observing a pattern
hi canada couple , we are comming in this feb and will try to meet you guys... till then stickkkkk araaaooouuunddd. 🙂
Why you guys have gone there at the first place!!!
I was in grade 3 when my family moved from India to Vancouver. I remember my dad re-certifying for his engineering job. Although, I was very young that is what I remember from part of our struggle. He studied day and night while supporting his family. You gotta do what you gotta do. I am now in my 30's and so grateful for my parents to have given my brother and I the life that I hope I can provide my children with one day :).
Thats so sweet of you
Honestly, 😢 tears started flowing when I read your comment "that you still remember, cherish and expressing" what your parents did for you may god bless you and your parents. Actually the biggest blow to a man is when his very own family does not honour and acknowledge what the hardship he is doing for his family, in fact a father has to die several times to give his family the future and prosperity he aims to give. Please 🙏take good care of your parents specially the father as he would not ask you for any thing, but you would have to give.... stay blessed...
That one couple who made sure we all know they stayed in US as well :D
ugh and that fucking fake accent
We stayed in Washington DC😂😂
USA. USA.. USA.. Washington DC.. USA.. USA.. hahaha
US is a shit
You guys are right...the earlier you moved the better. I moved when I was 55 and it was hard to start from beginning.
The problems that your guests described are experienced by most native-born Canadians. I have had problems finding a place to live. Getting a job for someone born here is not necessarily easy, depending on your abilities, and where you live. As for food, I find it difficult to find good restaurants too. Good, authentic Chinese food is very hard to find. Normally you get crappy Canadian versions of Chinese food. In areas that have many immigrants, you will easily find vegetables, spices etc. and good restaurants from India and China. As one of your guests stated, even though you might have been high-status in India, that does not mean you are entitled to be high-status in Canada. There is racism in every country, but Canada does not have a caste system. Most wealthy Canadians had to do it on their own, they did not inherit their jobs or their wealth. If you decide you don't want to assimilate and just keep your habits from your home country, don't expect your new country to change to suit you. If I went to India, or Japan, or France, I highly doubt that I could just take any job I wanted, and live wherever I wanted. I'm sure that I'd need French experience if I immigrated to France. Nobody is holding a gun to your head, and forcing you to come to Canada. So stop complaining, or return from whereat thou came (ICE Paradise).
Calm down uncle calm down. Chill. Hahahaha
@Eric Diaz Shut up kid you're not Justin Trudeau.
Very well said. I honestly feel bad to those people as well who complain about longing for their family or friends or their 'home-country' life. It's totally normal. But, going back after investing yourself is just illogical.
He's right.
I like this point form a girl she says "the early the better"
Life is not to be 😥 stressed. Live happily each and every moment.
Living in canada is not so easy if you are not in torronto. Most of places are under severe cold wave like -40 and -50 degree and that also for many months.only in summer you can go outside with warm clothes else rest of the year life is like Escimo.
Due to such condition local population is low and provinences want people outside bear those hard life and contribute to tax.
Toronto is too pricey and with 2 kids for a family saving is poor.
So better settle permanently rather planning come to india with great saving.just forget it.
By the way, thanks to these couple for sharing practical views. They are very honest and to be appreciated.
The best part is that you have covered lots of lots of information in just 12 minutes
Very to the point
Good work 👍
Superb video....
The beach sound in the background was just right....
😊👍🏻
Hi! Tunde from Nigeria. This video was really helpful. Many thanks for this.
This video clearly sums up the challenges almost every newcomer to Canada faces. It's actually very hard to leave all the comforts in your home country to start afresh in a foreign nation without knowing by when you'll get settled. This video like other videos on this channel is very relatable. But at the end puts in a dilemma, whether to move or not.
Good video. It covered everything that an aspiring immigrant would like to know.🤗. Keep up the good work.👍
First generation immigrants struggle . L went through the same struggle in uk . Lucky are those who have relative support . Please look into the life style of old retired professional people . I am saying this because those who are think to go back after a decade or so find it very hard to settle in lndia as it is at present .
I am little surprised to watch this video. Coz firstly haven't you pple checked the job market before you come? Secondly if you had a decent job and had a upper middle class life why did you immigrate to Canada? In Canada you will need at least 2 years to get a decent job unless you hv a friends network or job offer. If a new person come to India will you offer apartments without any history? What abt bachelors in India will you rent them right away? Why don't you look into your mistakes b4 pointing out others? I am not telling what you facing now is right but be prepared to any situations b4 you move to a new country like Canada. My suggestion is if you hv possibilities to visit Canada and check the conditions b4 you immigrate it will be much easier
maha kanapathy indeed canada is not a dreamland like the many have thought you will struggle and pay high taxes for the rest of your life
But but even though most of the pple having their dreamed life in Canada. They hv a good education system a good welfare system and most important you can do any work and can hv a reasonable good life but you hv to work hard and it will take time
maha kanapathy it will take atleast ten years to get back on your feet, why not use your money in your own country and have business instead of paying immigrant huge fee and ended up working like a horse for the rest of your life
@@elaine03812 true that. Imagine I have 10 years of experience in India and then I spend another 10 years to gain that experience back in Canada. I loose my entire life running for the same work I have done in the past and I reach 50 by then where I feel I should retire and enjoy my life. I think it's better to stay in India and grow in that sense.
As always, you guys are putting lot of effort to provide awareness/sharing real time experience is really great.. great information. Thanks Canada Couple..
Almost everyone said finding a job in Canada is main struggle. But considering the new immigration programs which are available now for new immigrants finding a job and finding a place to live is not a problem. According to me surviving in new country is big challenge over there. Surviving to the new climate, in the new community, transport and food are the really big struggles for the new immigrants...
Dude, you don't have a job , that means no one is going to give you house for rent. And your savings will melt like ice to water in days.
In Eastern Canada landlords do not ask for credit history just for cash in hand.
The Daily Life Of Jay in Quebec they ask big time
@@olyl3859 Should be illegal
Most of the people raised one issue which is Canadian credit history. Nobody mentioned about their experiences about getting it. What are the various ways by which you can make a good credit history n how long does it take? Meanwhile, where to go n how to find a job / accommodation without credit history? Plz make a video giving tips on this topic (with ref to students, families n people with small kids)
It's pretty simple. Get a credit card. Use it. Pay it off in full every month. Try to stay in the same house or apartment for many years. try to keep the same job for a few years as well. I don't know how long it takes. You can ask at a bank or credit union.
Or you can deposit some money to get it
The video is amazing. It captured most of relocation challenges. Thanks for sharing.
Book your Arbnb for a month and not 8 days. I understand that coming from India it's expensive but you have to have that money to come to Canada. Job may take at least 2-3 months. That is why Canadian immigration is recommending bringing Can $10K for one person plus $1000 for each additional person. So a couple should come with at least Can. $11K.
Really it was precise n informative
This is one of most pressing issue new immigrants faces, thanks for bringing this up.
I am 24 now will be turning 25 in coming January. I anyhow want to be present in Canada by 2020. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of what all struggles are there which need to be taken into consideration. Thank you once again.
If you book Airbnb for 15 days and find your apartment in 8 days then will you get refund for the 7 days? It us much easier to book another AirBnb to extend your stay I woukd think.
I am a strict vegetarian and non alcoholic...can I sustain in Canada? Please clarify...this is bothering me..
Thank you both. You are clear, direct. Your info, comments and tips are very useful. Did you have a video about health care?. Best wishes from Mexico.
Paractical experience. So much helpful. Thanks Brother and sister.
you guys are always with something exciting and useful information. great job
please let us know how the Basement accommodation looks like since everyone saying lived in Basement for months. Wondering how it will be there to live?
"Good gyan "🙂🙃 was also one of the positive talk and useful tooo..🙏
Is it true that PR /Citizenship holders don't need to pay their children's school fees till STD.12? Or any condition apply?
Good knowledge shared. I am happy you getting sponsorships for your videos& the way you incorporate them in your videos. If I start a youtube channel (which I will very soon) you guys are gonna be one of my top inspirations.
I live in Canada, life is not easy as it seems. Lately it has become so competitive to get jobs, if u r in management field u r likely to get racial profiled by the employers, there is a virtual discrimination done to u even if u have loads of exp or master's degree. Software profession is bit opposite if u have programming and technical skills u might get by. Especially in Toronto it has become a mess with high cost of living and over crowded.
We live in Mumbai..have a big house 2 cars 5 helpers..cook's cleaners etc..good building with all amenities...I look at Canada's life as just struggle...n for what?? Bearing that weather...yes we have sunshine n bearable climate too..not to forget organic food supply n A2 milk from Gir cow....I dont understand this mentality of people who feel...abroad aa gaye toh successfull ho Gaye.. phir chahe jadu pocha hi maro! Brain drain for own country! We do go abroad every year but only to holiday!!
@@hetd5618 : Hi having a big house, 2 cars and 5 helpers is not a measure of success..People come to Canada for its natural beauty, clean environment, water and technology..the standard of living here automatically increases the chances of yours to increase your life expectancy... who doesn't want that?...ya its takes time to settle but the risk is totally worth it..
@@anishshah8592 Noted:) will send my kids if they want to try..n are happy there..For us...now too used to Mumbai's lifestyle..faat paced , good social circle lots of festivities...along with clean air n water 1 needs friends and laughter too..Anywats it's a personal choice but 1 thing I hate about few NRIs is that they act lil pricey when they visit here..u know what mean..never forget your roots ..Good day
@@anishshah8592 Also currently I have a torn ankle ligament due to sprain ..n not due to bad roads( before u jump to conclusion).it was a slope of a mall exit ..At such times you really wonder what would I do without all these helpers...as walking not allowed ..its been 3 weeks..such times we feel good to be here!
@@hetd5618 : I am a proud mumbaikar myself been there for 28 years but was not satisfied with the growth opportunities there and recently moved to Toronto...Life is fast paced here as well..I have a great social circle..Infact thinking of bringing my parents here..lots of festivities here as well..I don't think you can compare air and water in Mumbai compared to Toronto, (2/3 rd of World's fresh water is in Canada)..Ya its a lifetime opportunity...Its not a free ticket to come here mind you..the express entry for a PR is not everyone's cup of tea...free medical and dental facilities...free education for kids...well yea its a personal choice I had the hunger in me to make it large...I had commented as you sounded more like a few desi's who can't dare to take a leap of faith and build their own life...:)
Hi, on what basis to decide in which city to live if person like me does not want city life. Any recommendation of name of city which are good to survive in Ontario?
Hi,
I have a question about the age eligibility, which is, what age will be considered for the CRS score, the one at the time of putting the file or will it be updated as my changes until I get the invite?
Hello! Really appreciate your channel and good advice 😊 Just a small constructive suggestion... try not to point fingers while talking as it may seem aggressive or imposing. All the best you guys rock!😉😉😉
Sure thanks!
Hi there., I have not seen you were discussing with any Pakistani or Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan. We as overseas do believe on peace and harmony irrespective nationality. So kindly put up some your neighbors as well so it shows hospitality. ✌️👍
Airbnb for atleast a month!!! Very important.
Figuring out accommodation is a task
Why would a landlord rent to anyone who doesn't have a job? If you can't pay are you going to move? In Ontario the laws protect the tenants and you can stay and live rent free until they evict you, which would take months. There is very little recourse for landlords to collect rent that is owed. Please put some context to why it might be difficult for anyone to rent in Canada let alone new immigrants.
Thanks for the videos! Can u also suggest what and all plans u had for booking ur flyt tickets for the first tym like when u booked it, which airlines u chose, what to consider for offers and all tat
Dont go then. Simple. They are not going to miss you. They dont need you. You need them. Adjust to their system or just dont go.
Informative videos.. Should know entire thing before move to Canada.. Behind every sunshine thr is dark side. So know pros and cons.. Thanks for sharing video
Awesome Canada couple 👏👏try to do like this kind of videos, recently I moved from US to Canada and not an easy to stay here compare with USA. Educate people what’s going on here.
This 17 October they took draw in SINP and the point was 67 but I didn't receive ITA
I think we should build a community where we help everything like from picking from airport, to house rent, to job ,to license ,settlement of family . It will help to build a community and no body is than finding friends group in events and all . We should build a family here of new immigrants and old experienced immigrants and they help each other and thats how a strong community build here. I am definitely when reach there soon i try to build that community or start by myself to doing this.🙏
Really helpful for a lot of new immigrants to Canada, quite a lot of information provided, Thanks guys
Hi.if you could help me out with few information like..how much proof of fund is required by a person who is the primary applicant and will be travelling alone to Canada but has a wife with two kids.but they would not be accompanying with him initially.
Start from a labour job. Thats the only way you can get Canadian experience. From that you will understand what other pple going through also
Lol
Can u pls make a video about the feedback of families where both parents are working... Daycare costs etc.
Please let me know
Definitely super valuable 👍
Nowadays many immigrants are coming to Canada. So because of this what is the ratio of job market. Are immigrants getting the job frequently or job market is down?
Nice video Bhai. Keep rocking 👊
Hi..i want to process my PR without the help of consultant. Please help me with the pro n cons of doing this as well as going via consultant route. I also want to understand if you guys had taken consultant route or did everything solo.
Hey if we get PR,do we get job easily after entering to Canada
It's truly frustrating that you're asked for experience when you have just landed. What I had done was to reiterate that I have just arrived so I couldn't have NZ experience unless someone allowed me to have it! It was hard initially to get past that horseblinkered approach! But once someone gets it, you're in. So stick around and don't quit.
Very informative video. As an immigrant, we face a lot of challenges. But, that what makes us strong.
You don't face greater challanges than the natives. Immigrants has the same rights as Canadians, so the game is equal.
your videos are informative. i have a question . my spouse is a canadian citizen and would like to know how long it will take her to sponsor me for canadian PR . currently in states and on gc
