When they were teaching the Trinity in church, my little one asked, "So which God do I pray to?" I finally came to my senses. We are born with the knowledge that God is the One who created the world. It is man who teach something else.

Without the Trinity you can not pray. 1st - You must pray to The Father. Luke 11:1-2.
2nd - You must ask in the Son's Name , John 14:13 -14.
3rd - The Holy Spirit must intercede for you when you pray. Romans 8:26

I have so many Scriptures to quote but I need to do them Verbatim.
If people just read the last bit of the Book of Revelation, that would be a start.
When we are judged, Christ Jesus will judge us. Just Google this for now. If I can find this thread, I will put down a few Scriptures that debunk the Trinity Theory. It was difficult for me to understand initially that God is ONE, Just as it was difficult for me to grasp the Trinity in 2011. It took about 2 to 3 years ❤

I recently watched a video made by Nehemiah Gordon who has Doctorate in Jewish history and language. He did some of the translations on the Dead Sea Scrolls and many other ancient documents.
He was given access to one of the larger collections of these documents that a limited amount of scholars get access to.
The one thing that amazed him was that every 7 or 8 times where the Tetragrammaton had a third diacritic dot which translated the name to Yehovah in Hebrew or Jehovah in English.
He found this 1000's of times in these writings . He came to realize that it was removed in many cases to prevent the name from being pronounced.
He has written a well researched book called Shattering the Conspiracy of Silence.
He found thru his research that God's Name Yehovah / Jehovah was removed from the bible in over 6800 places and replaced with titles .
He couldn't believe that the most common name (God's Name) had been replaced in that many places . That averaged 7 times for each page of the old testament.
I guess if God's Name was reinstated in all those places , the pagan teaching of the Trinity wouldn't be an issue.

It is common knowledge that the Jews did not speak Gods name “Yahweh” out loud. That is why it was replaced. Jehovah is not God’s name. His name is Yahweh. Jehovah came from the Jews using the vowels for the Hebrew word for “Lord” in place for the the actual vowels in Yahweh. It kept them from accidentally saying his name out loud when they were reading. The Hebrew name for lord is Adonai.

Google the Greek word theos. Even Satan is called theos at 2 Corinthians 4:4. However, the Trinitarian translations use a simple g in god. That is duplicity.

Taking a verse or two and reading into it meanings without taking the context into consideration will never lead anyone to the truth.
So what do you do with John 1:1 which says the Word was God?
It's quite simple really, the word, as is wisdom, is what is known-as a personification of GOD's spoken commandment.
Therefore and when we read John 1.1, we find the title of 'the word', is not merely a placeholder for Jesus, but rather, it is a symbolic representation for GOD's spoken will and commandment made-alive in the Son.

Yes of course!
When GOD sends someone to speak on His behalf - those subject to His word, are accountable to GOD Himself - that is why people died for failing to listen to the voice of GOD spoken by the Prophets in the OT.
And so, the answer is absolutely yes - in that GOD's word is in essence, GOD Himself - by His word - the heavens were made - from His mouth, etc, etc.

As the term 'GOD and man', is nowhere written in scripture, such claims lead to contend with fabrications rather than written truth.
That said, and assuming the title 'of GOD', is intended to mean the most 'High GOD' worshipped by Jesus on earth - then the conclusion is that, that GOD, has no equal or GOD above Him - as both Jesus and the prophets revealed all things are of Him.
Therefore and as can be seen, the truth of the matter is always be governed by logic and reason - just as we would expect from GOD's written word.
Jesus prayed in the garden to who? From the cross, who did Jesus call out too? From the cross, whose father was he asking why He was forsaken? Jesus said he would ascend into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, not sit AS the Father. Jesus said his Father sent him here. We have one God, the Father, who is a jealous God and wants us to worship Him alone. Jesus is the son of God sent here to save humanity according to his Father’s wishes. The Holy Spirit is the essence of God. Three totally different things!

Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus Christ the everlasting father this proves the trinity is false. Because the trinity says that the son is not the father and the father is not the Holy Spirit. But then why does God say He will make his home and live in you? God is in us. Father is the Holy Spirit

Two Jehovah Witnesses visited my home, I spent two hours trying to explain to them the deity of Christ to no avail, I then asked them who is the savior of the world? One of them responded " it might be Jesus" I then responded "He either is or isn't the savior of the world." It's very sad to see them being deceived by the organization. Without added context, I will go on a limb and assume this is in reference to the word being GOD in John 1.1, and that you are asking for clarification on that.
With that being said, the key to coming to terms with the word in John 1.1, rests on acknowledging the intended use and meaning of the title in the text. That is to say, the title of the word, that is a personification of GOD's spoken commandments, as well as its role in creation, as shown in Ps 33.6-9
Therefore and after coming to terms with the nature of the title of the word, and its intended use in creation, it becomes obvious that Jesus, who is clearly not a literal word, and who did not literally come out of His Fathers mouth, was in-effect, the being through which GOD's spoken commandment was made alive(manifested-in).
And thus, we find reconciliation with the word that is GOD in John 1.1, as well as the nature of the Son in Creation with GOD.
The word = GOD's spoken commandment, made alive through Jesus Christ who was in the form of GOD in heaven, prior-to the beginning spoken of, in Genesis.

Why doesn't Jesus rebuke these people like the angel that rebuked john when he's worshipped, when he know very well that only God must be worshipped? Unless if he is also God. 🤔

We see that not only is Jesus worshipped, honored and glorified by every creature( all human beings, animals, angels and etc), but he is receiving the exact same worship, glory as God the Father. Why all this if Jesus is just a prophet, ( human being), a creature or just an angel and not God?
Why is Jesus "glorified" like the Father if we know God shares his "glory" with no one?🤔

Although the presentation is interesting, there is no clarification of what the presenter means by "Jesus is God's Son." Does he mean that there is a God junior? Does he mean that Jesus is a minor divinity or none at all? The presenter does not believe in the Trinity, but does he believe in two Gods? If not, then who is Jesus (apart from the obvious title of Son), and should Christians worship him?

If Jesus is God this means John 17:22 means that all Christians can also be called God just like Jesus is God. But we know that is ridiculous.
Being 'One' means one in purpose not one in identity.
John 17:22 explains what Jesus meant by 'I and my father are one' in John 10:30 - One in purpose.
Jesus came to express the Word of his Father which how he and his are one.
It means one in person. Ex. If the King had a son and the king went to another country, he represents the King. Therefore the King and son are one in person. The son speaks for the King and the King speaks for the son. Same could be said of an Ambassador of USA. He speaks for the President. When the bible says they are one, it is not literal in that they are the same person. See Example - king and son are not the same but they both have the same plans, the same authority. Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy spirit and power......because God was with him. God did the anointing. God was with him. Doesn't say that God is Jesus.
When Jesus said “I and the Father are one” in John 10:30, he was talking about the unity of purpose that existed between him and the Father. He did not mean that he was of the same essence or substance with the Father, or that he and the Father were one God, coequal and coeternal. This unity of purpose extended to his followers. In John 17:22, Jesus prayed to God that his disciples would be one “just as we are one.” Obviously, the disciples were not one in substance.
And what about Thomas' confession uttered when he bowed before the resurrected Jesus:
"my Lord and my GOD"
In the original GREEK text, Thomas says, "The Lord of me *and* The God of me".

If what you say is true please give me chapter and verse for where it says “God the Son”. I have never found it in the pages of the Bible. The Bible emphatically states Jesus is the Son of God NOT God the son. There are implications for what that term means. Also, I don’t really feel much of the love of God in your post- it is a bit belligerent. Jesus said all will know you are my disciples because you have love one to another. It would behove you to get your facts straight first before you ravage someone’s post or comments. As far as the names of God... read ACT 4:12- I wish you the best using any other name for salvation because the Name of Jesus is exalted higher than any other name and everyone will bow to that Name! One last point: Matthew 28:19- read Luke 24:48 to compare-then look at Acts 2 to see what Jesus’s disciples actually did- they baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus- no disciple of Jesus ever recorded spoke the words “in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”. And if the divine "We" (john 14:23) is to come into my being to make an abode with me then God as Son and God as Father have come into my spirit. With that said the Greek text in Rev 22.13 does not say I am, as you cited here, but more accurately "I..." and without the "AM". And so, you really aren't making a convincing case for yourself with such behavior, as the Bible was written the way it was for a reason, and where we must adhere to the Bible if we are intent on speaking the truth.

Only the Father is identified as God. Jesus is identified as “lord” like in Psalm 110:1.
Glad Tidings Church of God you missed the point. The passage you quote says there is one God, the father. You use this to say Jesus can't be God because there is one God, the father. But in the very same verse it says there is but one Lord, Jesus. Using your same logic that would mean the father is not Lord because there's only one Lord, Jesus. The point is you're cherry picking and not being consistent with your interpretation.
The position we take is based on the Scripture as a whole. Since we believe the Father is the only person is who is God (cf. John 17:3), we felt it was fine to quote only that part of that verse. But even if we follow the logic you presented, Jesus is the only human lord, the only created being that we must give allegiance to. God the Father is also "lord," but in a greater sense, since He was the one that gave all power and authority to Jesus.

The qualification "human" is not in the text. The two parts of the verse speak of God and Jesus as equal descriptions. The two are in parallel almost identical indicating equality, but also indicative of unity by use of the term "only one" for both. And I would be a trinitarian.

You bring up a great point. How can anyone blaspheme the Holy Spirit if He isn't God. If Father and Son can be blasphemed, as They are God (see John 10:30), then the Holy Spirit has to be God in order for it to be even possible to blaspheme Him (the unforgivable sin).

When Paul was Saul of Tarsus, a strict Pharisee, he believed in and worshiped God. Right? But as a persecutor of the Christian church he confesses that he committed blasphemy. "Jesus our Lord ... appointed me to the ministry, who was formerly a blasphemer ... " (see 1 Tim. 12,13) He formerly BLASPHEMED against God by denying that Jesus was God's Son. When God speaks as one person, that does not mean He is not in unity with other persons. Read John 17. The problem with the trinity doctrine is that it claims God is "without body, passions or parts". The clearest "definition" of God we have in the Bible is that Jesus was the "Son of God". Thus, the dying witness of Stephen does not have the resurrected Jesus standing on the right hand of an infinite immaterial being, but on the right hand of His resurrected Father.
The creeds version of the words Father and Son is disingenuous. The words "Father" and "Son" verify that the Father was once a Son Himself on a previous earth, and that Jesus will progress and become the Father on a future earth. Otherwise they are not really a Father and Son.

With that said, let's look at what an actual declaration of GOD looks like in the Bible;

Needless to say, there is not a single declaration of Jesus claiming to be equal-to or GOD Himself anywhere in the Bible...
And the reason for that, is due to the fact that Jesus has a GOD of His own, and where that GOD is above all things, including, though not limited-to, the Son;

It was the Holy Ghost that overshadowed Mary and she conceived of the Holy Ghost. So that makes the Holy Ghost the Father of Jesus Christ . Worshiped as what? I couldn't have been the only True God, as Jesus was praying and worshiping His own God and Father in heaven. Making this a classic case of polytheism. The problem is that the word in the Greek is not "God" but Theos.
I believe Theos has the same meaning as Elohim, Mighty, Strong, powerful.
Although "son" and "Theos" seem like very different words, μονογενὴς θεός (the only Theos) and ὁ μονογενὴς υἱός (the only son) are actually not far off. In fact, in some of the manuscripts, they are contracted such that only one letter distinguishes them. The translators were not certain which was the original, which is why the translators added a footnote.
Personally, I try to approach the Newer writings from the perspective of the Older ones. The Son during the days of his flesh, was Jewish, the Apostles were Jewish, they lived in a Jewish culture, so the words they likely spoke would reflect that. The Greek language in the New Testament Scriptures, is an account of the lives lead by Jewish men. Where it says "God" I am confident the way they spoke of the Messiah among themselves original would be by using the word Elohim, Mighty One, not by "God" from the Germanic Language which has the meaning of the Almighty One. Yahweh the Father alone is called the Almighty in the scriptures. The Son was truly a Unique Being, Begotten by the Father. He is a very Mighty Being, but everything he has the Father has given to him. Yahweh the Father IS the True Elohim, the Almighty, Eternal Ruler!

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life- 2 and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us.
Note the remarkable similarities with John 1:1, both attesting to the deity, preexistence, and unipersonality (a distinct person) of the Word:

I think you are confused. Every Trinitarian defence has been refuted with out contradictions. Please explain mark 12:29 and psalm 110:1 if you believe in the trinity.

Truth Hurts Thanks but in no way does the trinity affirm the shema. Thats a big claim. psalm 110:1 clearly identified Jesus as a human lord not The LORD GOD.

@Sword Of Truth This God - "I AM THAT I AM" is the Triune God - Father - Son - Holy Spirit. And the Son, Jesus Christ, clearly revealed that incarnated as a man, He was the "I AM" of Exodus 3:18. "Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I am. So they picked up stones to threw at Him, but Jesus was hidden from their sight." (John 8:58,59). They perfectly understood His intent and He meant what He said. Before them was the "I AM THAT I AM" incarnated as a man.

But I would ask you these three questions:
1.) In John 14:23 where Jesus says He and His Father as "We" will come to make an abode with His disciples, which one of the divine "We" there is not God?
2.) Secondly, in John 17:21 which one of the divine "Us" there is not God?
3.) Thirdly in John 17:22 which one of the divine "We" in that verse is not God?
You God is not only about being objectively "out there" as an objective object of worship. He is about being triune to dispense Himself as Spirit into His redeemed people. The trinity is about God dispensing, conveying, and imparting from from Himself INTO man to live in man.
Now if you say God the Father makes an abode within the believers in John 14:23, then what NEED is there for someone ELSE who is NOT God to come along with God to make an abode in man?
"Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him. And WE will come to him and make an abode with him." (John 14:34).
@Sword Of Truth Even If I have been taught something of the Triune God for a long time, that does not make it necessarily wrong. Ie. "As for you, that which you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If that which you heard from the beginning abides in you, you will abide in the Son and in the Father." (1 John 2:24) My experience and the Scriptures agree - to abide in the Son is to abide in the Father. And I know that God indwells me because of the Holy Spirit He has given to indwell me also. (1 John 4:13).

Don't be ridiculous now. Concerning the Triune God the recipients of Paul's Roman letter of basic Christian doctrine, understood that the names were interchangeably used to indicate God was Father - Son - Holy Spirit.
Ie. "But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him. But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness. You see in a seamless fashion Paul goes from title to title interchanging them. He indicates that the One coming to live in the Christ is "the Spirit of God" who is "the Spirit of Christ" who is "Christ" who is "the Spirit of the One Who raised Jesus from the dead." God is indeed triune.
What I have for certain is that Jesus could not be an ordinary man because men don't perform miracles, men don't rise from the dead and finally, when they die, men don't rise again! Now just imagine who Jesus would be, what mystery would be hidden inside him?

In His Revelation to John, Jesus clearly says in Rev. 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him MY NEW NAME.
That is a very good observation - Jesus has a GOD above Him in heaven and even when seated upon His throne.
