Which brake rotors and pads did you go with?
Looking good man! I keep procrastinating with mine 😅 I have some brown seats from the B8 s5 that I’m going to put into mine. I also have some 354mm q5 brembo brakes and drilled rotors that have been sitting in the closet for about a year. I plan on lowering it but wasn’t sure on how much. Is your car on a 1 inch drop?
Thank you! And that’s awesome, I know the Q5 brakes are a huge upgrade. The H&R sport springs are about 1.25” drop
I have a 2016 s5, coming close to expiry on my extended warranty, so started looking up mod videos. Also blue on chrome, and have your same rims for my winter tires haha.

I’m getting a used S5 2013 B8.5 3.0 v6. When I test drive it I find it comes with round steering wheel. All the exterior and engine are looks exactly as B8.5.
May I ask could it be possible that B8.5 also has the package comes with round steering wheel instead of flat bottom. The owner said it was the package comes with it.
Would it be possible a true B8.5?
I’m afraid the car Mod from B8 to B8.5 as usually B8.5 comes with flat bottom steering wheel.
How many mm are the HR springs? Front and back...
You should definitely match the trunk emblem with the front. I have one on my B 8.5 as well as the blacked out S5 badge👌🏻
No longer have the car sadly, but I’m planning on matching the new emblems on my S4!

Is 70k miles a lot for these cars? Would I be expecting any major maintenance picking one up with this amount of miles?
Did you repaint the wheels at all? Did they hold up through rain and rough weather?
Never repainted or touched up. They’ve been on for 2 years and are great

I actually never dyno’d this car! With similar setups out there, I’d guess it’s right around 400 wheel
Does the ceramic coat show swirl marks or scratches??
Ceramic coating your car is not “permanent” in the sense that you won’t get any swirls or scratches ever again, but it makes it much more difficult to appear, as the layer is hard when it’s applied. I wash my car almost weekly and apply a ceramic detail spray to keep the coating alive. It makes maintenance washes really fast and keeps it looking great for a long time. Well worth it

Have you ever experienced issues with DSG? My 2013 b8.5 S5 shows " reverse gear malfunction, no reverse gear, but you can still drive", this happens occasionally, it's common among dsg, any thoughts about it?
Look in your door jamb and find the specification sticker. What month and year does yours say? That’s the manufacture date, for example, my B8.5 S5 says “09 12”. Some of the B8.5s have the same DSG issues that the previous generation B8s had, but most B8.5s have the improved DSG with less issues. You may have a car that was not spared
