Going to buy this day one on the 30th for PC. Looks very interesting and would want PQube to pursue more otome visual novels, maybe we will see the sequel in English after whenever it releases in Japan.
So excited to get my Collector's Edition this week! Looking forward to the story and the character interaction the most. Plus time travelling MC! I can't tell which boy I like best yet, so I'm hoping one of them will surprise me.
I like very much visual novel genre but I'm never played an otome game before, do you think I can enjoy it too? Sure there is quality in the game by the way...
I mean plenty of women enjoy VNs where you're a guy dating girls =P For me it really depends on the individual game; some are more geared towards self-insertion, and if *you* aren't attracted to the love interests there's not a lot going for it, and some are enjoyable just to watch the relationship between the protagonist and the love interests from an outside perspective. Looking for otome games where the protagonist has a face and voice acting, and is therefore more likely to be a developed character, is probably your best place to start trying out the genre!
It’s complicated because the whole premise is to care about a guy (both in plot development and love relationship). The story will really have to be interesting (Steins Gate) to make you forget about the obvious: you are there to F a dude. But, on the other hand, you can still enjoy a love story from the pov of a girl, it doesn’t mean you have to BE the girl. Maybe play some Otome on mobile for free and then move to premium titles? You can download Mystic Messenger or the new Tears of Themis and see if you can enjoy that kind of thing.
I've completed 4 routes and I think the romance is the most minimal out of 9 otome titles I've played. The female protagonist is voiced so it's difficult to self insert. Side A of each route is not really romantic, mainly focused on plot. If you're not into romancing the guys, you can use the force forward function to fast forward Side B (2nd half of route) so that you can unlock the last part of the main storyline.
Hi there, Happy New Year ! Did they finally fix the missing translations (only Japanese voice ) ? Not bought yet but on my wish list as few to play before ☺. Thank you for your review which is always smart.
I bought this a month ago and the cutsenes where there is talking in the background but there is no JP subtitle still also doesn’t have English subtitle 😅
@@orsikocs This game is really nice, do not worry for the few missing translation parts, not a problem to understand the whole story 😋 (this not the only game, heard about "Taisho × Alice" too) Happy New Year to you!
The amount of the story you spoiled made me sad. I stopped watching this a quickly as I could. I was hoping to get a feel for the game, how it played and whatnot not a book review.
Anytime I look for a review that nobody really seems to review you guys come in clutch and for that you get a sub love you!!!!

The game is for anyone who likes this genre
They're all in their 20's , strange to call them Boy's, at that point they're Men. Other than that , nice review.

It’s a visual novel…it is a book? But I promise we didn’t spoil the good stuff
