Classic Routine in a new way. I never thought the dramaturgy of this effect could be the same, if you perform the classic Cube3 routine backwards. But your versions proofs it. Very beautiful! I love the storytelling and the use of the cube in a glas. :-)

Please do not take this as an insult but just my opinion.... it's a great routine but a little too long, I'd shorten it by a few minutes and get to the point. There's a lot of great effects combined here. Keep the aww going without allowing the audience to get cold.

I'd say just the opposite.... Perfect routine, perfect drunk chick from the Chicago Magic lounge, Perfect Music.... Everything wrong made everything spectacular.... I have this trick... couldn't be a better scenario or performance. 100% This performance was 100% done by a pro.

I appreciate both of your perspectives here. I also think you're both right. Typically, the routine is not this long, but I was having all the shows that night filmed and so I already knew I had a 'perfect take' in the can. Essentially, a version of the trick where everything went as I would expect it to without any mistakes.
Then this happened and I figured I'd allow every funny thing that happened to unfold naturally. I think the result is pretty fun but it's also not typical.
I'm a big fan of allowing volunteers to be as much of themselves as they are comfortable with but always knowing I can pull things back to script. This is a good example of that ethos I think. I certainly had fun.
