The scary thing is that I know how to do what he spoke about.
I actually wrote some software to annoy scammers. It would give them heaps of erroneous data which they probably ended up calling / wasting their time on calling.
Truly brilliant! Yes, I was expecting a serious talk about spam but I really needed this. Super funny. Well done.
I love this guy!
Creativity off of the charts! I enjoyed not only the escalation but the twists. All the best & God bless.
Ah. A wiccan!
I love I.T. comedians! He looks like Steven Hawking's grandson.
Brilliant
If you stare long into the abyss, the abyss stares into you.
Very good
Can we get a follow up. What number is it on????
Well done. Sorry it took 4 years to get to me.
Bots having a good conversation
Thanks for your comment. - your case number is #0000001
Very good. 😝
Usually nothing
You get more. Just junk and filter it.
He should be with his Mother's Spam sandwiches.
You normally can't reply to marketing spam. This is a thinly veiled stand-up routine.
It's comedy, enjoy it. It's not a lecture.
that's what i think
Of course it is; take it for what it is. What's the problem? He's brilliant and fun. Why not enjoy it? Or maybe you just don't do fun.

While amusing, this did not help with the dangers of replying to spam where bad intent is involved from the spam originator. I am quite disappointed that this was not addressed. I was expecting some good advice for safely handling spam other than "just f*ck with them".
He deals with that in one where he responds to an offer of gold bullion
@@chrismatthews8717 That one's fabulous! I miss this guy.
That's not who this guy is. He's brilliant with his quirky take on things. However, spam has gotten much, much worse in the four years since this Ted Talk and downright dangerous.
Perhaps you don’t know who James Veitch is. He’s essentially a comedian.
