- Hi everyone! Today I have these delicious baked tofu bites for you all. They are easy to make and a perfect dinner!

1 (16-ounce [454g]) block super-firm tofu
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley leaves
Pinch black pepper
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 lemon, juice only
2 tablespoons vegan butter, cubed
1 tablespoon olive oil

I made this tonight. The flavor was AMAZING and DELICIOUS! I will definitely be adding this to my regular rotation. Next time I will decrease both the vegan butter and oil and use the whole lemon.

This tofu turned out golden and gorgeous! I was wondering what the missing ingredient for crispy tofu was... turns out, it's the cornstarch! Can't wait to try this recipe!

Thank you! Uhhh yeah you’ll have to play around with the timing a bit i would go 400F for 15 mins and then 400F for another 10-15 mins!

I don't have any cornstarch is there something else I can use ? This will be my first time cooking or eating Tofu. Maybe I should go to the store first and get some cornstarch . Thanks for sharing this, my fingers crossed !
Hi Veronica so glad you are giving tofu a chance! I would HIGHLY recommend you do use cornstarch. However, you can try using all purpose flour or a different starch if you have something like potato starch. But Please keep in mind this recipe was designed with cornstarch and altering a main ingredient may alter final results. Let me know how it goes!
Looks amazing and I will definitely make this! Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE your recipes and you!! Just curious - so many videos out there, including this one, show the person adding far more than the recipe specifies. In most cases I notice it with salt and also with oil. In your video it looks like you put about 1/8 cup of oil on it, not one T. Like I said, I notice it in most videos I watch, not just this one. Just curious.
Hi glad to hear you like the recipe! :) hmm well i use a kitchen scale for everything so all my measurements for recipes are always exact! this was definitely only one tablespoon of olive oil. a tablespoon is actually pretty big though and I think it is bigger than most people realize so maybe in the video it just tends to look like a lot more.
Its so amazing, i just watched the tutorial on my screen and i love it! But the only thing that i dont prefer in this recipe is the olive oil.. knowing that the oils kill the vegans 😊 so whats the replacement for the olive oil that works with the recipe? I think you're the one who knows better cuz its you're recipe that you introduced ♥️♥️
Glad you enjoyed the recipe. Haha I don’t know about it killing vegans a tablespoon over a whole recipe with 4 servings isn’t very much oil at all. But you can try using vegetable broth however if you are oil free you are probably going to want to omit the vegan butter as well since it also contains oil. The recipe will be different without the vegan butter and oil
