Does direct healing take less time considering it does not take the same pathway as indirect healing? Does a bone graft help direct bone healing go faster? Considering that metal plates are used for direct healing and it’s sturdiness why would surgeons not allow for full weight bearing sooner than 6-12 weeks? Thank you so much
