Thats it guys, Im gonna pack my bag to the Philippines and get that Lechon! 😍🤤 Love your reaction and reviews on this vlogs hahaha
Lechon or inasal in Cebu is eaten plain with rice or dipped in the lechon's own drippings or with a mixture of coconut vinegar, soy sauce, chilli or lemoncito in a little dish. Barrio or town fiestas is not complete without a whole inasal or lechon being roasted and feasted on by the guests mostly with bare hands. With its increasing popularity among local foodies, lechon in Cebu is now being mainstreamed into restaurants or fastfood franchises.
This is the best eating vblog ever you made. Have a safe trip to Malaysia you two cuties and continue to vblogging that you enjoy and love doing for your viewers. Salamat for visiting Cebu and the neighboring islands. Cebu is a strategically located for inter-island and air connectivity both going up north or down south of the Philippines.
Thanks so much, Juvet!!! ♥️ much appreciated 😇
even people in Metro Manila are ordering lechon from Cebu..soo crispy and tasty
i dont think so, that even people of m. manila are ordering lechon in cebu. bec. mang tomas lechon are the pioneers of making lechon business
@@joelammang9068
Oh one lechon shop in Cebu now has branch in Manila or it is QC? But never found or heard of Mang Tomas in Cebu. If Mang Tomas is Philippines' tastiest lechon why doesn't it have a shop there in Cebu to compete with the best?
Keep em coming ladies! Your latest uploads are amazing!
Philippines is surely winning influx of tourists over other Asian countries because of you guys. Big big Thank you!
One of my Favorite food Lechon and Cebu lechon is the best and number one 👍🤩😀🤩😀🤩😀👍.!!!...Have a great day guys Beer for Breakfast🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.
Yes i agree
i love the interview portion. 😊👍
Traditional lechon in the Philippines were eaten dipped in pork liver sauce to enhance the flavor. That sauce was so popular that it was bottled and sold separately. It's known as Mang Tomas Sarsa ng Lechon. There is actually a neighborhood in Manila called La Loma that has several restaurants selling lechon and other pork dishes such as dinuguan, bopis, paksiw na lechon, chicharon bituka and bulaklak. They have been around for decades. The difference with Cebu lechon though is that the Cebu or even the Iloilo version is already flavored hence no need for the liver sauce. They instead dip it in mixed vinegar soy sauce. A popular mixture in the Visayas.
Even the great Anthony Burdain said that Lechon from Cebu is the best pork on earth ever, so there you go.
I love the way you talked local Filipinos as you a Blogger this is Best congratulation nearly 50k Mabuhay. 'God Bless'...
lechon is part of our culture. celebration/occasion is not complete without lechon... we find reasons to eat lechon. 😂😂😂
lechon is a staple food in our culture for special occasions like fiestas, birthdays, weddings, a day in the beach... i have to say, cebu's lechon is the best in the world. had it in st. lucia island last year - not even close. glad you found our lechon to your liking.
Late Anthony Bourdain that was his favorite pork dish. This guy travel all over the world comparing it to other pork dish he said this is best pork ever!
North of the Philippines! Baguio, Banaue Rice Terraces, Ilocos (Vigan and Laoag)
I like how you go out there and interact with the locals. Amazing! Have fun beautiful people 🤗 enjoy!
explore Mindanao , go to Siargao, Bukidnon , Davao , and Camuigin Island
This is why I'm so proud to be Filipino ..easy us to engage conversation with foreign ..we know how to talk English ...
Can't wait to try this first hand in a couple of weeks ! hope we get to run in to you guys while there.
Goodluck guys! And when you comeback here in the philippines go to vigan ilocos sur.❤
Oh my goodness, watching you eat the lechon ... well, that took us to a "happy place." Enjoy your trip to Malaysia! Come back to the Philippines soon; miss you guys already!!!!! 😍😘💕
Hi Micha and Justina, I've been binge-watching your travel vlogs for the past couple of days and I must say it is definitely engaging. Appreciate the effort to immerse yourselves in Philippine culture. Keep up the good work! See you around and as always #CheersToFreedom. :)
PS: The next time you come back, make sure to travel to the Northern Philippines (La Union, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Baguio, Banaue, Sagada, Batanes).
Very well narrated! Thank you!
The Traditional Cebu Inasal is not just an ordinary lechon. it is an Experience 😍 It's a Cebuano culinary custom cooking a whole pig stuffed with fragrant lemon grass & a mixture of herbs, spices, & seasonings on its belly then gradually roasting it over a pit of live coal to perfection. Once you take a bite on that crispy skin & the tender juicy sumptuous meat then that's what you'll call an Elevating Experience 😃😃 No need to dip it in any sauce as it's already succulent yet in case if you really want to, then you can have a spiced vinegar & a crushed garlic a sprinkled with a little salt for a dip. Don't forget your bottle of beer too 😉 . Now i'm craving for Cebu Lechon 😄😄...Safe Travels & Cheers 🍻
Gionne Jette Gorchez What is lemon grass?? 😐😐😐
Lemon grass is locally known as tanglad or tangad that is very aromatic when cooked much more so when mixed with the inasals own drippings. You stuff the pig's belly with lemon grass along with green onions and garlic and salt. Im not sure if its stalks is digestable compared to the green onion or scallions when cooked. But it enhanced the aroma and flavor of the pig inasal or lechon.
@@John77Doe Cymbopogon, better known as lemongrass, is a genus of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family. it's locally known as tanglad. thanks Juvet Dakay.
Good luck! Will wait for both of you here. .mmmhuuaawhh
Thanks so much !
Awesome vids girls!
Anthony Bourdain said the same thing, it's the best pork he ever had. :-) Lechon as a noun is suckling pig by default. But as a verb, it could mean roasted or cooked. So you have lechon manok, lechon kawali. The same with adobo, sisig, etc. It's more about the cooking process per se.
You guys are wonderful!
Come back soon please gals! I will be waiting for your next adventure here in the Philippines! ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Yes! We will follow you.

Liver sauce with lechon is my fave. sauce is important with lechon when eating it with rice
I’m salivating watching you guys eat Lechon haha. I’m jealous I don’t get to eat that over here.
My personal list of my favorite lechon places in Cebu:
1. House of Lechon
2. Rico's Lechon
3. Zubuchon
4. CnT Lechon
5. Ayer's Lechon (meh)
I hope you will visit Guimaras, please. It is where you can taste the best mango. in fact, it is illegal in Guimaras to bring in mango because they are protecting the species of mango in Guimaras.
I love justinas reaction..so real
The best partner for beer on any occasion. Beer&Lechon!
Im from Guadalupe Cebu, i always went there to CNT Guadalupe lechon plus dugo-dugo nila...mingaw na kog kaon ana...hopefully naka-oli nami dha 🙏
Watching this video makes me salivating with that darn lechon. Huh! Craving for some. Haha!

That crackling sounds when you munched on lechon skin...ARGGGGHH... that makes me want to fly to Cebu the soonest!
OooH lechon yummy🤤😋 I really miss it guys
Try to visit Batanes and Siargao when you're back! Stay safe always you amazing duo!
Head to the North! You can make Baguio City as your home base for a month. The cool weather is perfect there since it’s already summer here. From Baguio, you can easily go to other tourist attractions in the North such as Ilocos, Sagada, Banaue, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Aurora.
Cebu lechon makes it so special because you dont necessarily need a dipping sauce .... its optional though. Unlike to a non cebu lechon you got to have "sarsa" (sauce) '..
Im craving, so im going out and get some lechon.
Yum yum with beer

today lechon is available anytime in almost any mall or place. during my time lechon is ordered on special occasions, fiestas, big birthday celebrations feast days....
Its nice to be you❤❤❤
When prepared correctly, lechon is a food orgasm in the mouth. I found out that my maternal grandfather enjoyed eating lechon so much that he died from a heart attack since its not a health food. However, he died eating happily. Looking forward to your adventures in Malaysia.
Think about spending some time in the north of the country like Ilocos or up in the cordillera region.
Wow lechon... Sarap
Had it been a month already??? I am devastated that you have to go. To make sure that you return, I will continue to watch and enjoy your adventures. Hurry back though as there is more of this country you have to see.
I know, right?! Time went by so quickly ! Two months in the Philippines is not enough! We are eager to come back 😇♥️
CNT! oh my god! 😍🤤
Lecho is very important in the Philippines celebrations, especially Fiesta. During Spanish time , having lecho is an indication that the family is wealthy or belong to upper society(alta sociedad) also this also one why for Spaniards to identify the natives (Indios), Filipinos now a day who are Christian.
informative blogger❤️❤️❤️
I haven't eaten anything this day rn and im salivating XD
Loved your video! you looked like you enjoyed your meal. Lechon is delicious and enjoyed on special occasions , but in moderation. Not recommended for people with diabetes or high blood pressure. However, we only live once, don't we? I would like to point out that there is a liver based sauce for dipping your lechon pieces into. It's meant to cut the fat and balance everything out. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Goodbye...Guys..😢😢😢😭😭😢! I hope guys you came back again try to visit Siargao..😓❤❤❤.
