His dance and stage persona, is also very capturing, and makes you forget about all the harm and wrong that happens on a daily basis, all over the world And he does not look like a drunk uncle, who wants to impress his nephew a little bit too much, at all. I am in love with the fact that so many Turkish elements are included in this song and performance.. Serhat himself, the part where they count bir, iki, üç and Serhat saying "Teşekkürler Avrupa" in the end. It doesn't take much to work it out. He's Turkish. 62 of the 65 televote points came from Azerbaijan, Albania, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Georgia, Hungary and Moldova. Those countries always voted heavily for Turkey. I suspect had he been Italian none of them would have given him any points.

Seeing Serhat perform this live at the final and jumping around with the other fans is an experience I’ll never forget. You could tell which songs the fans were vibing with and which ones they weren’t. Everyone went HARD when this came on. San Marino: 19th overall, 10th with the televote, first in our hearts.
This is the best eurovision song I ve heard to date. Very Eurovision, very 80s, very easy-going. Serhat is not a typical singer- actually not a singer at all- but his attitude is great. He owns the stage, I also think he pays tribute to Turkish participants of 80s-the legendary group MFÖ. Thank you Serhat for bringing Turkey back to Eurovision. If a real singer sings this song on day, its gonna be magnificient. This song is magnificent.
Also some people blamed him for Portugal and Hungary not qualifying, but the semi final results showed that even if Serhat was pulled out they still wouldn’t have qualified 😂 and Serhat got 10th in Grand Final televote 😂
This is perfection. He manages to sing at the exact pitch where people with bad taste are not able to hear his true voice, the voice of an angel. To the haters I say na na na na na na.
Not gonna lie, this is actually way better than the semi-final performance. The vocals were way better and he even moved more. He won me over during that interview when I learned he was a dentist. Pretty cool to have a side gig as a pop star.

Seeing Serhat perform this live at the final and jumping around with the other fans is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the best eurovision song I ve heard to date. Very Eurovision, very 80s, very easy-going. Serhat is not a typical singer- actually not a singer at all- but his attitude is great. He owns the stage, I also think he pays tribute to Turkish participants of 80s-the legendary group MFÖ. Thank you Serhat for bringing Turkey back to Eurovision.
If a real singer sings this song on day, its gonna be magnificient. This song is magnificent.

Not gonna lie, this is actually way better than the semi-final performance. The vocals were way better and he even moved more. He won me over during that interview when I learned he was a dentist. Pretty cool to have a side gig as a pop star.
