Call me old fashioned but I am still a fan of letting the pipe drip. I have never had a pipe freezing burst because I let them drip even in harsh Canadian winters. The water drip needs to be about the width of a pencil. The way I look at it I would rather spend an extra 50 on my water bill compared to hundreds if not thousands of dollars of broken water pipe damage.
Who here from Texas trying to see something???👀
So don't drip the outside faucet?
😂 yes! All pipe wrapping sold out…need a diy!
Too many people in this world lol I am so stressed
How are there not enough pipe covers
Lmao. Meee
😂 yupp, Austin TX ! Hey, do I need to cover water sprinklers?
👍🏼👍🏼Easy Peasy! I’ve used old socks and walmart bags before and never had a problem.
Everything depends on how cold it gets
"Thats all there is to it" thank you sir
Thank you!
I also drain my hose in case I need it for a fire and to keep it from being damaged by freezing… yes freezing will damage a hose.
I drained and turned off my outside pipe. Wrapped it with insulation and a towel. Unfortunately, I did keep it dry and two busted
Great idea thank you
Thank you
Thank you , very helpful
Girl!
So is leaving the faucet dripping not required?
