Ugh tell me about it, my math teacher overexplains to the point where I feel like I haven't studied anything this semester and ohhh man my math final is in a week or so...
I am in chemistry honors and the first time my teacher taught dimensional analysis to me I was super confused. After watching your simplified lesson of dimensional analysis, I think I have a better idea of how the process works now ☺️👍
This video gave me that good ol' Eureka! moment! I realize I was making this concept was too hard for myself and see it's almost as simple as common sense! Thank you!
This is one of the best comments I have seen! If I can help you make a concept feel simple, then I cannot get any higher praise than that! Thank you so much for sharing!
I did the tour of youtube today looking for a way to understand Dimensional analysis and yours was the most accurate, easy, and well-detailed. Sir, Thank you. Sending you big hugs. You made my day. Thanks
Fernando, Thank you! This is one of the best compliments you can give me on one of these videos. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know this helped you when other videos didn't!
I just came here to thank you, like everyone else. I had a hard time with the way our textbook was trying to explain this concept, and was really frustrated. Luckily, our instructor embedded your video in her coursework online; lo and behold I could actually understand it and it made perfect sense. Thanks so much for offering this kind of content up for free, and helping us all in our educational journey. 🙏
Thank you. I was trying to figure out the formulas for dimensional analysis, but "what goes up must come down" was the best advice to understand dimensional analysis.
This guy is awesome. He got the point fully across in 7 minutes. Unlike some of my teachers getting the point out in a day and then complaining that were behind.
Just one minute in your video I was completely in love with it. God bless you for making understand in one minute what I couldn’t understand in 20 years of chemistry
thank you so so much. After weeks of trying to fully understand this I finally do as a result of watching this. A 1000 TIMES THANK YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am glad this video helped you! It has grown drastically in popularity over the last few weeks. I am sure midterm exams had something to do with that!
Absolutely incredible!! Wish I had come to your video first. You actually TEACH unlike other videos where they assume we can read their minds on why they did each step. THANK YOU!!
Tysm for this. Im in gifted chem and my teacher made it out to seem such a complex process, causing me to spend an entire class period figuring out how to solve it when I understood everything within the duration of this video. Definitely subscribing! And sharing with my friend too.
Listening you teach is so awesome. My teachers in school were not like you. They were like `do this do that and voila we're done' . Thanks for the video sir.
Good Gravy! Thank you. Completely simple and understandable step by step. Chem teach keeps adding division up front X/Y/Z or X/(Y*Z) and it throws everything off. This comes out every time...I thought the division was overkill. Whew!
Thank you so much, I’ve been scared to ask my teacher to help me with this topic, but most likely he’d just explain it in a way I wouldn’t understand. This really helped out a lot.
Thanks soo much!! This makes it extremely clear to understand!! I was afraid I would bomb my Chemistry quiz tomorrow since I didn’t understand, but now, I do!! 🎉
thank you for your video. Its going in the lesson plan. I have to teach my fiance and i didn't know what problem to introduce to her. The problem you introduced was easy and straight forward.
You should add "can be used with nursing medication calculations" somewhere in your search or title because none of those labeled such explained it as easy as you. If I saw this video first I would've saved myself hours! You're a great teacher.... analogies always work best when explaining something confusing and th first example was like an analogy for me :-)
this video worked wonders! i've been struggling in my chemistry class, and i couldn't grasp how to set up the actual D.A, and this helped me! the two simple steps of "find which unit you're solving for" & "what comes up, must come down" made me understand how this works! thank you so much, hopefully i'll pass my chem test :)!
I kinda get it, but it was way better than what I was taught at school. It was the same steps but my teacher and the class speed off without me and it's hard to catch up. This is helpful, thanks
THANK YOU SO MUCH! as a 5th grade student i didn't really understnad how the dimentional analysis work but coming up watching this video makes it easy to learn!
Thank you so much for this! You explained it in a way that actually taught me how to do this when my teachers and my friends couldn’t. You just saved my life thank you!!
Interesting approach... I like the video presentation. Could you please share how you record your videos? I want to see how I can advance to your style. Thank you
I know I’m a little late to the game but I’m having difficulty trying to figure out how to use this while also converting between the metric and the imperial system and I was wondering if you knew how to do that.
Thank you so much for this guidance! I was still very confused with this even when we moved onto the next unit. Thanks to you, I have a much better understanding!
Hayley, I don't know if it is perfect, but it makes me really happy that this video seems to help so many people. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and let me know that it helped you too!
My teacher deadass over explains so much to the point that everyone in the class gets confused, this is so refreshing oml

Thank god for this video. This is so much easier to understand than my teacher's explanation..
I really appreciate seeing feedback like this! Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Thank you, so far the easiest to understand explanation I've seen.
Spring,
I appreciate this! I know this topic can be a challenge. I hope this approach makes it easier.
Absolutely
Any videos relating to the formula for hydrates? Lol, seriously though...
Agreed! I'm going to share this with my classmates tomorrow

Absolutely incredible!! Wish I had come to your video first. You actually TEACH unlike other videos where they assume we can read their minds on why they did each step. THANK YOU!!
This was the first coherent explanation I found. Not sure why this is either so overcomplicated or under-explained so often in educational settings.
Thank you for your explanations! You made way more sense than a lot of other presenters! I appreciate you. :)
this may be an old video but i just grasped the concept so fast so thank you

What an amazing video! You’re great at explaining it!
