I thought you had to multiply the lower numbers and then divide. It is giving me a different answer.

The faster way is to do it all at once... multiply all your top numbers and divide by all your bottom numbers. I assure you it ALWAYS works. The way you are mentioning works too, but it requires you to essentially do 3 different calcuations (multiply your tops, write that down... multiply your bottoms, write that down... then divide those two values). The way I show in the video and also in other videos (ua-cam.com/play/PLGVFcC04AlxdrtPXFTY92jlzKXhoyd9XU.html) show the way that you can do it all at once. Trust me, it is faster! 👍

Is there a shortcut to memorizing the conversions

For the metric system, yes, but as for other conversions, not so much. I have a free formulas and conversions quiz for you to test your knowledge over at www.bcraftmath.com/atiteas. Check it out!

We're not even allowed to use calculators

Bummer! I have heard of some programs prohibiting the use of calculators. From my experience of working with those students, the calculations are typically not as intensive, but that can be different for you.

@@bcraftmath Thank you so much for your video! I am going to have a med dosage quiz in about a a week and I need help with identifying how to set the dimensional analysis. In other words, I need help to be able to grasp what are the things I need and how do I know that I don’t start off with the hour? how do I know that I leave it for the last how can I do I identify this?

Make sure to check out all of my videos on my Med Dosage playlist. In nearly every example of each problem I stress how to start off the dimensional analysis. Start with your goal. You will hear me say this repeatedly, especially in the midst recent live sessions on that playlist here - ua-cam.com/play/PLGVFcC04AlxdrtPXFTY92jlzKXhoyd9XU.html
