I think if night mode does get added, they should have spotlights or something, it increases your view range but decreases your camo. Have it as a risk reward thing.
M60 m48 lep1 all have nv
oooo... that sounds like a really cool idea... increase your spotting by 100% but decrease your camo by 100%.. make it work like binocs do
You are very creative bro
Centurion action X skin
This makes me think of the part in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal where the US cruisers and destroyers accidentally sail into point blank range with the Japanese fleet of like 12 destroyers, a light cruiser, and 2 battleships. The range was so close that the lead US destroyer had to take evasive action to not ram the lead Japanese destroyer and still neither side had given the order to open fire. Eventually some of the US captains just took matters into their own hands and opened fire without Admiral Callahan's order to do so and when they did that, some of the Japanese ships turned on their nigh search lights to find targets. Several of the US cruisers had early search and fire control radar sets, but the captains, crews, and officers hadn't really worked out how to best use radar at that point in time, and one of the US cruisers (not sure which one, but I don't think it was Helena or Atlanta) got caught in a searchlight beam. The captain of the ship, seeing his ship lit by the enemy searchlights, immediately fell back on his pre-war, pre-radar training and gave the order, "COUNTER-ILLUMINATE! COUNTER-ILLUMINATE!" The ship's gunnery officer, being more familiar with the radar and how it was used, and knowing his guns already had a firing solution on the ship with it's lights on realized that if they followed that order, every Japanese ship in the area would immedately fire on them, so he shouted over the Captain's order and yelled out, "F THAT! OPEN FIRE!"
I love carrying toxic players, especially if they have better stats than you. A simple “you’re welcome backpack” in pms gets them into an hour long rage festival.
Hell of a game QB...You where absolutely correct in taking the "Dip Road" and not the "High" one in responding back to "Your a moron" player. Game has become to toxic, it's nice seeing people put back in place. Rock on QB 🤘😎
That was female player berating him. I think, it's a bitch. LOL
View range is one of the most powerful advantages in the game. Elc bis at tier 5 is a perfect example of this. It is disgusting in the current world of tanks. Over 50% camo and well above 445 viewrange. At tier 5 most tanks don have viewrange to reach 445 without binos. You can sit at open field at 300m and no one can spot you or if in a bush they literaly have to proxy you.
God forbid you actually have to figure out where they are at and flush them out and destroy them.
that's why the Elc Bis is my most played tank, a few games ago in it a CHAFFEE didn't spot me until 75 meters after I spotted half their team
The elc has always been and still is one of the most high skill cap tanks in the game. Since once you are spotted you die.
It is also my most played tank since back in the day it was fun.
At tier 5 no tank should have more than 340 meters view range but the ELC was always very strong. It's hard to make it work but the skill cap it has is very high. Tier 5 also had other very disgusting tanks like the T67, which after 3-4 nerfs was still broken and let's better not talk about the Lefh arty.
WoT became world of heavy tanks with unga-bunga-get-hulldown tactics, hulldown maps and impenetrable turrets. This mode gives lightly armored tanks with tiny pew-pew guns some tools to be usefull.
That’s way better then a bunch of light tanks inevitably leading to shorter matches. There are other games for that lmao WoT is strategic
@@recondolaidy-slayer8468 Strategic? Good joke.
Nice one QB. Those haters really spoil the game. for myself, yes I need to "get good" as I've only been playing a few weeks but positive advice is way better than negative rants. Thanks for another great video.
QB that TS-5 charging a turreted tank in the open was the low IQ player. He should of kept his distance to protect his sides and rear.
Exactly right
Recently I had a game where I was sniping with Leopard, but fosh player didin't liked it, he wanted me to go up close with leopard 1, so he became toxic and started to push me around, at the end of the day we didin't win that game but drawed, with me being number 1 on that game, but at the end of the day he apologized when I messeged him and he was a cool guy, so it still ended in wholesome moment.
You can see that the game went on until dawn lmao
I tend to mute or blacklist players as soon as they start on crap like that. I don't need their vitriol while I'm trying to enjoy my game.
I knew the TS-5 was gonna be mad as soon as QB left him after he said help and I was like... Oh hes just gonna rush in there and then get shot in the side and then complain even though he should have seen that QB was going to a better spot and he also should have known that of cource he was gonna get shot in the side from there when he gets spotted... :D lengthy explanation XD
What I saw is Will leaving the teammate that called for help. Will could have typed "flanking". Would that have made the difference? I think so.
Is either player in the right? No. "moron" and "idiot" are not becoming either.
Honestly voice coms are the best because people can hear tone and able to drive whilst talking. Even if there is a language barrier.
Just look at Spanish: saying Quiero tu flanco vs just writing this; people with enough knowledge can understand and translate flanco. The same way Ich will ihre Flanke is something you can understand, even if your German isnt great. That’s also in part because of context, that it is a light or a mobile medium tank making this statement.
If only coms were a thing and people had enough sense to believe in this (devs and players).
[Please excuse for my hasty translations into Spanish and German. Keep in mind, “flank” is spelt similarly thorughout Europe and thus something worth translating 1:1 without thinking about use cases]
It's like the old days of playing with Jingles
Ah yes Jingles...
Who is jingles? I've never heard of him.

@@blakkwaltz Old guy. Not great at tanks. Toxic as hell, calls players 'retards' and uses the arse/flashlight analogy constantly
perks should be limited to five or six max in my opinion. that way, choosing skills becomes a choice and crew 2.0 as they wanted to introduce it would indeed add variety in playstiles. I personally like camo-based tanks a lot, even in current meta, as not beeing seen is easier to achieve than not beeing penetrable
The problem of the system is that once you get 5-6 skills, if you want to be competitive and be in strong clans, 5-6 skills aren't enough, you need like 10 skills and some tanks like the Manticore become an absolute nightmare to grind. Firefighting, brother in arms, repairs and camo should be 1crew skill just to start with, not all crew skills. Once those skills are implemented that way you can start considering adding new skills, because until then the commanders have too much pressure.
14:18 full night time game, morning was almost there.
One of the most frustrating things in this game is seeing a player park at the rear of the map and never shoot at enemy tanks. Instead, they spend the entire match complaining in chat about their team's light tanks.
It's the most funny and also the most tragic when the light tank is perma spotting enemies and the only reason the backline campers don't see them is because they're literally parked out of render range.
Maybe what they are saying is true
You know what, QuickyBaby's voice is starting to sound like The Lockpicking Lawyer
Something with 1, dab the 2… and we are in.
"Today isn't about the night gamemode" - Continues to talk about the night game mode mechanics for the entire video. Great video as always though :)
I really miss playing the spotting game with light tanks, I'm looking forward to giving this a go.
QB is on his egotrip once again. I guess some people never learn...
I'm convinced that QB forgot that night battles were in the game very early on.
"View range saturation" = now I understand why I've raged SO many times about being perma-fckin-spotted 90% of a game, even when my crew has 100% cammo and BiA
"'Moron Senlac' send his regards. 😉"
🤣
well the whole game are full of them toxic players. alot of times rng is say no. and you will die and people who did absolute nothing with 0 damage call me an idiot and sitting in one bush or they kill them self in the first couple minuts of the game
The vibe is like playing a Super Chaffee when it was tier V back then.
I think nerfing view range making it like retro tanks sounds pretty good
I was once called out in the chat by someone with whatever word, don’t exactly remember now, then proceeded to get a kolobanovs medal, killing the 5 tanks left on the enemy team with my Type 61.
A dynamic feature like day/night cycle in a game such as 5min each nigh/transition/day at dawn or 5min each day/transition/night at twilight.
HE'S GOOD ON KNOGGIN SHOTS
LOL i love seeing toxic jerks get their sock stuffed in their big mouth XD he was very quiet after your team started cheering you on haha and the ones who do almost no dmg are the ones who run their mouth even agaisnt the players who do the lost dmg XD
Big fan of night battles, I would like to see a tornado 🌪 or flooding with maybe a tidal wave
Come back anytime - merchant
As a Toxic player I turned my chat off years ago and kept it to the occasional message beyond that it hasn't been worth having the chat on in years. Was fun though back in the day when people gave away the positions of the 35-45% bots on their team to end it quick.
i've had some success with 150mm borsig on close/mid range in the gamemode. quite nice to not get seen from a mile away in that agile (but slow) glassbox
2:22 Scorpion G hitting for 377 alpha XD
They should add spotlights into the night game mode for every tank and adjust spotting mechanic accordingly. For example if you turn on the spot light then your spotting distance would increase but also you'd be more visible for other thanks. That would add interesting mechanic to the night game mode and would be kind of mini game itself.
Wow, did somebody finally carry qb for a change once?!
Oh wait...
the funny thing is that i encountered someone with the same username in the game on the enemy team and he was also anonymized he wasnt good for his team to say the least
Tier 9 &10 spg should get 3-5 illumination rounds that set a given area day light visual for 4-8 secconds
Played it twice , don’t like it gone back to my battle pass in random 👍
I outspotted a tier 8 light tank in my type 5 heavy. It shouldnt work like that but it does.
so because they keep doing power creep, they introduce night mode to reduce the power creep in vision to try and give vehicles a variety. Because without night maps, essentially every tank i have, has 445+ view range. it's a value i barely care about, camo matters more to me because I'm guaranteed to have enough vision with all the multipliers you get now.
The invisa tank mechanic at least makes more sense at night
I think for new or casual players, this will be frustrating for the reasons you mentioned.
This mode would be a huge boon to lights and some meds. I'd hate to what Bourrasques would be like.
I wonder if they will add day cycle during the matches and night game mode is just a way to implement it
This would be very interesting in a Competitive Gamemode "Clan Wars".
Finally Tracked Scouts would have a roll again
Was very surprised to see QB utterly bash night mode in his review video but the game needs new features like this if it wants to survive.
Must have felt great to send that message. Lol
U are really funny or sarcastic in the end, but I love it. What a game. GG. Remove some viewrange is good for the heavytanks. They need that.
Thank you, always learn something watching your video 👍
Viewrange is fine , it gives you options to make a tank that suits your playstyle. With reduced view range there will be no more option but to have optics.
I like your thoughts on night mode, and I agree that introducing this as the game stands today is problematic. The question that we are, in a sense, being asked is whether the game should be a cooperative game or not. The way the game has evolved over the years, it isn't. Now the focus is on individual play and therefore heavy damage dealers are the meta. In fact, I would argue that if one team has a light tank and the other doesn't, that team loses. That's why almost all light tanks have below 50% winrate, even if light is macheted against light, as a rule. So, a team with only heavy tanks will win against all balanced teams, if the skill level is the same on both teams. This makes the game more one-dimensional.
Night mode will force more cooperation. However, after playing night mode, my experience is that it does not work. The reason for this is that people are neither prepared nor want to actually work together as a team. This is also why you are called into the match. You're not there to scout for others, but you're good enough with a light damage dealer to carry the game.
The game does not try to have any kind of realism. It's an arcade style game... so one should introduce more cooperative elements into the game. I do not know. I know that I would enjoy the game more if it was more about teamwork within the team, but I suspect that this would perhaps make the game even more annoying.
I will finish by commenting on light tanks and scouting. Everyone on the team helps to create a zone of control. Light tanks have an advantage when it comes to expanding this zone, but it is not actually the job of light tanks to scout so that others dont have to. Everyone must be involved in expanding and creating the zones of control for the benefit of the team. Those who complain the most are usually those who just hide behind a rock, without contributing to the team at all. Stop complaining and start contributing. Don't expect others to do the work for you, while you lax behind hard cover. .
I agree on the view range saturation. I would like to see the game to have shaved off 10% of view range of all tanks (but knowing WG and their stance it will be 10% buff to most of tanks, excluding few premiums, of course not the OP ones). Also the draw distance vs max view range ratio should be higher.
I dealt with this twice today. Seems like when you're playing a light tank you receive the most toxic of players. Both games I ended up doing 3k+ damage, w/ nearly same in assists, and multiple kills. Nevertheless, I had a ally player from each match send me a toxic message telling me IM not playing my light tank correctly. No, I didn't sit in the back of the map. No, I didn't go dog fight with the other light tanks and lose half my health or die. Instead I tried to spot the enemy, get my shots in all while doing my best to remain unspotted. We won both games and I came in 2nd for my team both games. No matter how well you do for your team in a light tank someone will complain nevertheless because they got killed.
I decided to change my message settings to off. I'm done listening to toxic players.
Night battles are sick
It was quite refreshing to tds have some relevance again.
8:28 wow wtf happened there? some cloaking device there!
I think "Ninja" fits the Senlac very well.
Night battles seem cool, but only for the visual effect. Just keep the normal rules to go along with it
QB, my opinion of you went up when you sent that abusive player a "greeting".
Does anyone know when the Senlac received this buff?

That is3 had his entire tank broken lol
The issue of nerfing stuff is that experienced players will just compensate with bond equipment, premium consumable etc. A lot of players will then just throw games, like we are also seeing in standard randoms.
Game modes like cabinet should have only standard equipment allowed, so you are playing with old school equipment. Light tanks with premium consumables are very broken in this game mode due to the nerfs on view range. The 380-420 meters distance is pure gold for a light tank to spot you and eat you alive and you can't outspot it.
Love this! I couldn't understand what tank did he play?
The Senlac. It's a British light tank, Tier 8.
@@1slotmech is that a premium or do you need to earn it?
The high ground would have been just finishing the game and ignoring the idiot. I guess the idiot got inside his head after all.
You called for help to deal with the T 34 3 and then you ran off to the north to flank. Turretless TD vs a Med. Bad news for him
primo victoria has 400m base view range
fully setup with a static spotting setup it has 598 active spotting setup is 520 played three games of the arcade cabinet noticed the stupid view range on it was broke and havent touched the arcade cabinet again
Hey QB, can you please show us how disgusting the E25 is in the night game mode?
Only tier 8 and 10 are allowed in the night mode.
Reducing view range by 5-10% would make light tanks somewhat relevant again.
Yet another tank can spot a whole team from halfway across the map how fun🙄 nothing like getting shot 30 times because a light spotted you from the netherworld.
T'riffic game Will. I find this tank quite tough as I play 'lite', passive: perfect game is top XP without firing a shot, & the cammo rating's baaaad. Just shy of 2-mark. Cheers.
BTW - that Skorpion G hit you - 377. Epic low roll. Is that the lowest roll? or have they changed the gun?
That's the lowest damaging shot, literally -25% minroll. Imagine there's a light tank with 390 HP and you roll with a Scorpion G for 377... that's true pain and one of the reasons damage RNG should be reduced to 15% and not 25%.
night mode looks pretty cool
hahaha anyone else hear Thor bark at 14:23
Always when in title says TOCIC player - it must be stored and watched in-full! The toxicity mentally makes me sad out of a fun game else.
You can deal with toxics on a well deserved blacklist, or chat off. After all this year ppl forget is a game. Don't waste effort and nerves with all tryhards. Maybe you want to enjoy a couple of games after a day of work, not to trait woth them
What
Exactly!
Durability device improving track health was such a bs idea
i personaly think they need to reduce heavys viewe range by 30% mediums by 20% /tds and let the light work.. for ther job atm i feel like lights can be strong but if a freaking superheavy having some viewe range like a light do make zero sense to me..
yay playing that stealth bush in a completly decked out tier7 light ...and get outspotted by the cvs bourasque in the bush behind you ...sigh
@@supertjibbe ye i absolutly hate when mediums can play like a light.. i think alot of can be changed in a positive way because even if you let lights to be the eye ALOT maps are coridors really hard to passive spot anyway
Reducing the Viewrange has it's issues, the drop of camo after firing is really nice, but if noone can see you even if your camo drops to zero, what's the point? I suggest leaving the Viewrange as it is and increase camo by 100% or something, so you can sneak around, but as soon as you fire everyone will be able to see you on max distance.
I prefer to use 13105 because i can have 3 free shots in this night mod. So I can to kill light tanks fast as well. Try 13105 it’s awesome feeling:)
You assume you proved him wrong. Leaving him to die when you had an easy assist was the issue.
i love the view range play in his recent videos soo much! its like tightrope walking
why is your senlacs gun sounds diffrent to mine??
To be honest I think one of the big things between a good player and a great is being able to work out where you will do best for your team removing emotions from it. I was a 61% player but stuck there never could get any higher (have not played for a year or so now) and could not instinctively do those calculations. So I would stay alone on an flank to slow them down, would stay with another tank to support them even if it most likely meant we both would die etc etc so I would have helped the TS-5 and most likely lost the game for it!
QB did lose because he helped I remember him doing such things and I am pretty sure u did mostly the right thing most of the time its just easier to remember the mistakes am like 52-54 recent going up and down depending on how focused I am
I can see where the TS-5 was coming from. His Senlac teammate asked for help and he charged in to help him, but then he died alone. Clearly what the TS-5 did was very stupid, but it came from a good place and he died for it. He wouldn't have the awareness to realize it was stupid, he thought it was a good idea but he didn't have help from the person who asked him for help.
Really just stop lying about it being anything other than paying Russians for favorable rng. Now lie like a bitch and deny it
I think the night mode is great and gives light's a reason to still be in the game.
I also tried the radio equipment along with designated target skill, oh man spotting people for 10secs in the mode is money.
how is this mode with using TD's that have reasonable view range???
A mode where lights and mediums can feed and heavies and TDs have to hide?! Put this in random queue, I need a reason to full time lights again.
You killed a troll & 6 tanks, should be a badge for that.;)
I saw this game live on your stream.
They should increase the view range cap from 445 to 465.
Just another area where WOWS does it better. Every ship has acess to the same basic equipment loadouts by class, with a few minor exceptions the same for captains skilltrees so it really comes down to pure player skill in the ship their in which is how it should be.
You mean, somebody carried you? Wow, that's a big deal!
That guy need to chill out, let the PRO do the thing.
