@Ed Straker just a bad player I guess. He could annoy the AMX from distance much earlier (not knowing AMX is out of ammo), then relocate and again for 3 minutes. Leaving it for the last seconds might look like a smart idea, but in reality it doesn't make sense and simply lowered his chances.
well the sta was clapped by him at the beginning of the match and can see that the sta is not the smartest so probably kept him cool

Awesome game, only gripe with it was the duel against the Grille 15 and 79 hp Type 5 Heavy, i was screaming at the monitor " switch to HE for fucks sake, conserve your ammo !!!!"

I really don't mean to take anything away from Galaxian's great game play here. BUT 8 against one, you've got to be kidding me. This is an EPIC throw by the opposing team.

@@danw3391 that poor tier 8 medium trying to cap out (in a notoriously crap vehicle no less) only needed 11 more seconds. What were the grille and t30 thinking, trying to brawl with him? That STA didn't do any damage... All they had to do was delay him and/or bleed him out in the open ground.
That is unfortunately the common World of Tanks experience, most players are very bad at the game.

Playin a lot League lately and it blows my mind how people with lvl 300+ acc level are more noobs in the game then me with my lowbob lvl 50 acc..
Same goes for wot of course..
We have to accept that not everybody cares so much about improving and winning more.. (but it still blows my mind how those people can enjoy losses..)

I would mind mind it that much because maybe its not an essential quality for a streamer but I ve seen this guy fully on bullying his twitch viewers. Talking shit to the fans. Which is truly just disgusting behaviour.

Really great gameplay of the AMX M4 54 but my only itch is not shooting ONE HE to the top of the Type, could save two shells probably. Worst case he could have one shell left for the STA for a Faidin's medal. But superb game nonetheless, can't wait to get my hands on this tank - hopefully WG won't nerf the tank 'till I get it :D

Who needs ammo lol, glad he won to do so much and still lose would have been such a hearbreak. I mean 12k + 10 kills + 1 vs 8 is a quite mental combo. Most players would be happy with one game with one of those things.

5:50 at that point a good WOT player would have gone and sat in the cap circle to win

not quite sure why STA-1 would wait so long. He just so happens to find him 1 second before cap ends lol.

Even if he had died he still would've won. The cap said "captured" before the shot went out and winning by cap takes priority over winning by killing enemy team.

WOAH, that was even getting my heart pumping!
That was probably one of the most epic throws by a team I think I've EVER seen in my years of watching replays. Cannot imagine the utter rage that enemy team must've had towards the STA-1. There's a reason why I consider the playerbases of Wargaming titles to be among the worst I've EVER had the displeasure of experiencing.
I think the Type 5 heavy should have pushed him as soon as he went up on the ledge, so that the others could farm him. I would have used my HP and went full speed ahead.
If only the progetto would tank a shell and clip the 54 from behind.
Not the fault of the sta-1, progetto threw the game here by being passive.

As much as I like this game and enjoy watching, I rarely ever get excited by a replay.
Bro I was leaning in towards my screen and biting my nails for this one. Hooked to the last second.
Obviously the STA had spotted him before making his presence known, but didn't know he was out of ammo and so took some time - almost too much - to circle for a "sure" rear penetration. I"m sure the STA realized he stood a good chance of bouncing a frontal shot, given the game events, and figured that the M4 would obliterate his low health butt while he reloaded.
Danged good play on his part, actually, especially if he had gone up the valley of dead tanks and around the north end of the map first (explains why it took so long, he was hunting...)

That was an amazing match which left me gob smacked, been playing world of tanks since it first came onto Xbox back in the day, now i play it on PlayStation and pc.
There is a STA-1-like player in every game and he is always on my team.

There needs to be a new medal: no rounds remaining before killing your last opponent. Earning at least 5 kills (making it hard to smurf this medal) (driving more than 2km).
(I dont think you need to be the last person on your team standing to help promote team efforts, like 2v2 situations and a long fought battle)

Good game but certainly helps when you're in a very strong tier 10 in a tier 8 game.

I think he could've been a bit more aware with his ammo and conserved it a bit more. He coulda used HE against the grille. Additionally, he could've saved 2 shells if he confirmed the shot on the Type 4 by aiming for the hull rather than the tiny cupola. Regardless, great game by this man.

it's about view range, you can get the skill "Situational Awareness" on ur Radio Operator which improves view range.

I like the AMX, it might be OP, but it's not broken. Lots of weakpoints, even frontally, and the prem penetration is still not great (though better than it used to be), it's nimble, but not fast enough to be a fast heavy.
I'd rather face an enemy AMX than a Minotauro, but I'd also much rather play an AMX myself than the Minotauro.
PLS start the replay 10 seconds earlier so we can see the equipment used in the future
Always makes me so sad, to see this Jagdtiger a true ww2 tank mixed in with overpowered paper fantasy tanks.
OP or not the skill shown in this battle was positively legendary.
Great commentary and top notch analysis as only QB can do for wot. A fun watch but the title kind of fell flat for me personally. Shooting win tokens or not that was an amazing performance but I’d feel more excited watching a non meta non op non gold shooting example that did half that damage and scored half as many chest medallions. I’m not sure that’s even possible in wot anymore which bums me out a little. There was a little bit of a vibe like Beckham vs Mrs. Witherspoon and her third grade class from public school 59 in a west end town. Now that wargaming has a taste for blood money I fear the problem of pay to win will never be resolved and it will be another example of financially successful broken games that could be really fun like wow or destiny. Great for industry stock holders but we now have an entire generation of gamers raised on these hobbled games that just accept them as industry standard and don’t know what a high it is to win versus people who have to earn their success across the board. I’m less offended by the OP tank because new weapons, gear or in this case vehicles will always require tuning once you see them played in the wild because things become apparent when 250k players test it versus 250 on the alpha. It’s the gold ammo that really flattens the cola for me imho. I’m considering returning to wot after a break from gaming due to work and tbh as it stands I kind of lean towards war thunder right now. not gonna lie was expecting the STA-1 to enter through the tunnel just at the end and bounce a shot
The 54 can be killed by Russian or Chinese Mediums by hugging their sides as it cannot aim down enough, you kidding me that it's disgusting? The other players didn't do what they are supposed to do against a Heavy/Super Heavy tank and that is by swarm 2+ more tanks, they went after him one by one, laughable. The 296 prem/gold rounds cannot even pen a E-100 turret right thru, gotta aim at it's top weakness of the turret ( it is very small) or it's lower chassis, but still will get bullied by a E-100 no prob as the top of the 54 chassis is easy to pen by E-100 on both guns using prem/gold of course. I would say the 54 is a upgrade over a super conqueror at least, but a super conq won't get bullied by Russian or Chinese Mediums butting up the side of your tank.

Why don't you do something like rewinde at end of thebyear where you make compilation of best games (exp, dmg, spotting...)
But in fast format not ultra fast but you know about 20-30 min video.
When RNG needs you to win...
40% of the shots or not well aimed, RNG send them in the right spot.

The role of the medium tanks like progetto 65 and charfutur 4 is to out maneuver and flank,not drive and stop in front of a heavy tank and shoot their frontal armor

Im currently trying to grind for this tank rn cus it's one of the few tier X tanks that can fit 5 crew members, how hard is the grind? I've currently researched the tier 6 tank

Its not bad, only tank T7 and above from the line thats not very good is the T8 amx 65T, but it also got a buff so its still ok to play, not good but balanced tank. Its easy line to grind.

If any of your shots hit a tank on your team it prevents you from acquiring a High Caliber. A rule put in place back when there was still team damage I imagine.
