I don't think culture matters too much, it's just about you and your personality! International students are welcome all around!
16% of all harvard students are from abroad and then there are even more that come from immigrant parents. Plus British and American culture are extremely similar so even if so many weren't already from abroad I doubt you would have any problem with being from a different country.

I am planning on applying for college in Germany. Hopefully getting into TUB (Technical University of Berlin). Is it a good school? And is Germany a good country to study in?
Germany is a great country to study. Little cost and a great country. TU Berlin belongs to one of the elite universities in Germany but is not so known. TUM (Munich) is considered the best university in Germany and is probably as good as MIT Harvard Stanford etc. just does not do as well as the ratings for universities are better designed for them. I have no personal experience with the TUB but the university itself is certainly more than adequate. I Hope I could help you a bit.
