Please show how the hell to get a 2.5 degree helical with a bitz

Is the material noticeably stiffer than the version 1.0? I'm glad he knocked (nocked) off half a grain, but my other complaint besides the weight was the stiffness wasn't what I wanted.

They are slightly stiffer and good rigidity

Any issues with adhesion? I’ve tried numerous flies, fletching jigs, prep methods and I’m sitting at about 33% success rate on getting a good arrow. Shame as I love the vanes when I can get them to stay on. Should note I’m using created arrows and have zero issues getting any other vane type to adhere, even TAC which are notoriously difficult.
      Also using the version 2

@@caninphx What's your prep method? I always clean the vane with acetone and use a separate primer, and that works with everything I've found. I've talked to a guy who had issues with the version 2 vanes and he had to use a primer.

It’s not my first rodeo with vanes. Been fletching arrows for a long time and build arrows for a lot of people. Tac and these are the only vanes I find a pain in the hurt. Tac I just caved and used their glue/primer pen. I’m starting to refuse to use vanes that require special glue. Just make the damn things so they don’t need a particular glue.
Anyways I’ve done acetone, alcohol, nothing, primer pen, on on the vanes. l Tried the loctite glue, Aae max bond, gorilla glue, and firenocks and bought new glue to make sure it wasn’t that. Tried 3 different fletching jigs I have bitz, Firenock and Aae mini max. I ruined two of the mini max from the loctite glue. That glue is so runny you gotta be very careful how much glue you put on. It runs everywhere when it squeezes out when you do up the jig and place the vane. A drip went into the hinge and wouldn’t release two of the fingers aka permanently bonded. no matter how much I soaked it in acetone it was permanently stuck on two of the fingers. had to buy two new ones.
Now I use cresting but have zero issue getting other vanes to stick, well tac vanes but they are anothe ruse our glue which is the only way I have ever gotten them to stick permanently.
They are sending me a new batch of vanes to replace my order as I am about 33% successful on the vanes sticking. I’m thinking there is still a release agent or the dye is impacting the glues ability to adhere. something on the ones i have that isn’t coming off with the cleaning/prep. the vanes I have had successfully stick, after a few shooting sessions one vane will fall off. So far I have 5 arrows with three vanes on them I can’t pull off out of 24 i fletched. I have a few vanes left but am not putting anymore on until
      I get the new ones
The bases of the vanes I’ve also noticed some are very badly formed/bent so that might be an issue, the base might be impacting the ability for it to adhere?
Hope this isn’t another failure like their dialed arxos sight. Which was an utter POs.

      @@caninphx ...I like my Arxos...
Anyways, you've put as much effort into getting them to work as anyone can expect. There's clearly a problem, at the minimum with your batch. What color did you order? I've only run them in white.

I've gotten good adhesion using an AAE primer pen and Bohning Fletch Fuse. I really want to like them, but I suspect they're hitting my cables as they pass, im just not getting good accuracy compared to the same arrows using AAE Max Stealth. They've done well passing through targets and even 2 deer. But as they wear out, I've been replacing them with AAE Max Stealth again. I will be trying the new smaller verision, though. Looks wise, i think they're the best-looking vane on the market.

Alot of people dont know this but every time you weight something you have to Tare the scale.
It will make up to 0.2 grains of variation in weight.
I usually Tare and weight twice.
Trust me on this... try it. You'll see.
