well look at you, finding information and real-life footage and getting to know the world around you better, yet you still have to point out the culprits
This video is amazing, I'm using it to study disorders from cluster B for my exam, it's the perfect case to understand better this personality disorder
The final questions (about having odd thoughts and perceiving things other people don't) is the therapist making sure it's not schizotypal personality disorder
+Neil Bockian, PhD Unfortunately, I don't. If you look at my channel, I have schizotypal but could't find others. If you find all of them, let me know.
His acting is TERRIBLE, but this video is still a really good example of the disorder. My psych teacher recommended this video to us so that we could understand it better.
I was paranoid schizophrenic for 50 years. Believe it or not, Jesus healed me instantly on May 10th of 2017. I would have thought exactly what this guy was thinking if I'd been interviewed the same way. Except that I'd have way ahead of this guy. I wouldn't have said one word in answer to the interviewers questions. I wouldn't have given him even a sliver of opportunity to use my words against me later on.
there are moments during this interview where his eyes do this fucking TERRIFYING scowl and it looks like his eyes are pure evil! Im actually CREEEEEEEEEEEPED out after seeing his eyes do that thing. They get demonic and then go back to normal within a split second
I think the strategy is to get the person yo talk. In doing so you get the sense that he is very hesitant and gives away the typical traits pretty soon. The questions are successful.
Because this is how we do with psych patients. We stay calm..ask simple childlike questions...open ended...very monotone..as to not trigger anything from pt....this could very well be a pt. fa' real...not sure about this video...Im in psych and its possible..sad..but true.
Notice the doctor says he had blood in his stool and how they are worried and how can they help. Notice his response is build windows for sunlight and freetime after lunch... guy is clearly not logical. Sooo many clues. This disorder I's real and its scary
Putting mental patients together in clinics without windows is indeed bad for them. So he has a point.
Most should understand these vids were made back when doctors were crazier than patients.
they still are

hahah wouldn’t it be funny if his paranoia actually saved the museum from robberies on countless occasions!
I mean a paranoid person would be a good fit for a guard position, provided they don't take it too far.
He's NOT acting. I worked with a paranoid person one time.
He is
The final questions (about having odd thoughts and perceiving things other people don't) is the therapist making sure it's not schizotypal personality disorder
I have schizotypal personality disorder,, his behaviors seem more like paranoid personality disorder imo.
@@Schizophrenic_void definitely paranoid, but schizotypal is sometimes similar so those kinds of questions can be useful for a differential
I have schizotypal but I do not trust anyone, I have never had friends since childhood
might be for paranoid schizophrenia
The doctor is schizotypal
It's damn dark in there.
because they are planning to hurt him :)
@@rpcarnell 😂😂😂😂😂
I enjoyed the banter
Oh wow that took a quick sharp turn
The gaze at 3:41... typically paranoid
Hehehe
This is a real patient.
Is this paranoid with a comorbidity, or are the strange beliefs separate?
I would like to get all of the videos from that series (by Dr. Fidler). Do you know how to go about that? Thanks!

Did you manage to get the rest of the videos?
I have the narcissistic one

Is that an actor?
It’s appears to be a reenactment but probably using the words of a real patient/person.
How the fuck isn't David Wolfe in a psychiatric ward?!
Do you have any other videos made like this? Like by the same person

thank you that is crucial information
Y’all are the fucking worst. The way you guys talk about people with personality disorders is INSANE. We are people, treat us like people.

he just seems to get a facebook jail these days
GONG!!!
he looks more like into narcissism
He looks like someone with many negative thoughts

Terrible acting but shit, this man could do interrogations for the CIA or some shit.
Who could? The interviewer or the one being interviewed?
why is the dr asking such stupid questions

Also, can I have a paranoid as head of security? Sounds like a good idea to me 🤔

most certainly :D and many can appear very normal hehehe

No personality disorders are “scary”.
