@@20somethingsworld97 The hell you say! Of course it's a show but in case you didnt realize there are good parents in the real world like Randall and Beth.
People struggling with anxiety really need this type of person in their life and it's unfortunate that not many do. My boyfriend is my rock and he's helped me understand how and why my anxiety happens and how to handle it in a healthy way. This scene was just pure perfection for those of us living with anxiety and I cried with relief watching this episode knowing that, honestly and truly, people like us are not alone and that there are those who really do want to help, comfort, and heal us the way we need to, even if we don't always exactly know how to say it. We always just needed somebody to listen
You are absolutely right - we all need support and help. Especially those of us who live with depression and anxiety. Your boyfriend seems to be an amazing person, you absolutely deserve all this love and support💗
I would love to know how your boyfriend explained to you how and why anxiety happens and how to handle it ....if you can let me in and explain that to me I'd be so appreciative..your so fortunate to have someone that understands
@@agtaylor2863 I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you’re able to find healing ❤️ I kinda always wondered if Randall’s innate desire to do good and to take care of everyone had anything to do with being left at the fire station as a baby. He didn’t know the real reason why William and Laurel “gave him up” and maybe he felt some sort of feeling of neglect?
Beth is the MVP here, but I just want to point out Randall's "it's a lot" before he says "but we'll figure it out". Too often grown-ups tend to try and minimize their kids' problems. We think it'll make them feel better but it has the opposite effect. If you want to help your kids, the first step is always to validate their feelings.
Yes, she was rude, disrespectful and hurtful to a great dad. I am surprised Beth did not addres that. It's drives me crazy to see disrespectful kids on TV. And why would Randall answer his phone/ even look at his phone, once he was in a meeting? What is happening to people where they can't ignore their phone for a while. I don't get it.
@@morgann521 No, in my opinion she did not address her daughter being rude and disrespectful to her father. She should have been punished for speaking to her dad that way. And Randall is such a great dad. Thats what made her comment so bad.
@@morgann521 I agree, there doesn't always have to be a punitive response for bad behavior. On top of that it teaches her how to handle things with grace. I'm really happy with how they're portraying this black family. As the saying goes you catch more bees with honey than vinegar.
@@raephaelemasirnille5794 I'm agree with you guys but honestly when she said : "I am not like you" to her dad she probably didn't want to be rude or disrespectful.. she just shared her own opinion. It's not because that's your parents you are definitely like them.
To me its the opposite. They do the things that few people in this life do..teach their children what their emotion mean and deal with their emotions up front instead of pushing them down. Its why so many people need therapy. This show is emotion up front.
Such a pity that Tess went from being nice like this to making a “profane, mocking dance video” in Season 5, simply for being angry at a teacher for touching her hair, and other black students hair. Well, hope she goes back to being her nicer self, as Seasons 5, and 6 progress!
Beth is an incredible character, the actress does a incredible job of playing such a strong woman
Beth, showing she's the rock of the Pearson family in this house.
Yup
Facts
I want a spin off about Beth!!!
I so hate this show ended
Everyone needs a Beth in life
Exactly!

God, two of the best parents... how lucky their girls are.

She said William i cried.
Why is Beth calling Randall “William”?
@@LuckyCharmgirl247 William is the third person, Randall's dad
My girl Beth, the real MVP of the Pearson clan
Dang! I can't even watch a 3 minute clip without crying!
Almost lost it when I saw that flashback of William!!! Gosh I miss him on the show
He was best :) The best scene of the whole show is William and Jack together laughing.
My husband is just like him he cares about making everyone alright but without the panic attacks
Overly helping others and putting yourself last like Randall is a sign of cptsd.

I wish the daughter apologised to her dad for how she spoke to him

My favourite scene of the entire episode. And probably will be of the entire season
It was Randall kissing his teeth for me 😂😂😂😂lol
Who else is watching random This is Us scenes after finishing the series finale?
I need Beth in my family she's so amazing wow
I need a Beth and Randall in my family
I need a Beth in my life.
Beth is goals.
Is it just me or is this show just way too emotional and sentimental every single moment!?
Jocelyn Jose it’s a lot
It's beautifully cathartic. If you're shy about crying yet need to, watch an episode! Godspeed!

Agreed
Ooooh i will miss this show
I kind of wish they addressed why Tess said that she doesn’t want to be anything like Randall
La Tisha it’s bec she got her panic attacks from Randall since he had and and his biological father had it
Amal Abedi no. It’s because of what happened with Deja and Malik. She thinks he was unfair.

La Tisha Yea. I just felt like it was implied.

There should have been more Beth LOVE HER
I wish Randall would have said “ you can find people that you’re not attracted to attractive” in stead of that’s hard

Yet, she grows up to be an amazing Social Worker, who helps put children into homes. Kevin was also an obnoxious teenager.
