@@ZubayrK thats because its not for you. Idk you, but this character is for little black girls who are apart of the lgbtq community, or the parents of said girls.
I love that after his conversation, Beth and Randall sit down to talk and you would assume that they were going to talk about how scared they are for Tess. But they just move on talk about other things and have a good laugh. So many parents will learn from this. A sexuality other than the most common one is not the end of the world people!
I kind of like that this hasn’t been a major part of the storyline in the newer episodes because it shows Randall and Beth really aren’t obsessing over it.
Beth’s reaction 💜 how she stands up, right in front of her to speak to her and show her she’s here, I was sobbing. And the coming out part was so realistic, down to the relief.
As a mother, I would've got up and embraced her as soon as she started crying. I have had these conversations with my children due to society today. I love them unconditionally! Their love is my love, and I love them. Beautiful scene and acting.
Speaking from experience, it's tough for the parent too. But I think Randall and Beth said it best....do you see anything other than two people who love you. That's always the bottom line. It was for me.
I want you to know that No Matter what you are Loved, Wanted and Cared about Always! I know its a cliché to say the right time will come. But there truly is a good time. I came out to my mom sister and dad! I know and believe in you too!!! ❤💛💚💙💜✊

Beth and Randall are the parents I wish I had. I see their calm, peaceful, patient parenting and it’s a miracle to me that this is how some people grow up. y’all are very, very lucky.
